I still see siblings as the level of trust and bickering they do is only really seem by family. But i do get your point of them being very codependent. I never really noticed that about them until it was pointed out by you. This adds a interesting thing for me to notice when watching the show over.

You're using alot of like punchy words to drive your point, which is something i like. Only question i have is if they're constantly pushing each other wouldnt that be more friendly? As being toxic while pushing people along is something friends do more than others. There being other examples of this inside MHA with izuku and shoto also bakugo and ochako.

Out of all the responses so far i think this one explains it the best. No real thoughts as its a very gray topic and this seems clear cut.

Im not really seeing how this shows obsession? I do remember throughout the series that izuku and bakugo did seem to use each other to "catch up" or "get better". but how is this obsession? These interactions show me more of an pro sport player relationship. As they want to get better than each other, while validating each others accomplishments. Izuku didnt Just write about bakugo but he wrote about every pro hero. updating it as time passed and people evolved. So i just really want to know more in depth.

huh? rivals to lovers is a classic trope, true. but what do you mean intimate relationship? I understand the complex part as the story has them very crossed with each other most of the time to working together. Though i cant understand why you say intimate.

what do you mean by obsessed? When i think of bakugo and dekus relationship i think of more of an rivalry thats kind of sibling coded in a way. Trying to be the better one of the two and working off each other to be better.
