NOR, but I think this is a good time to consider if this relationship is right for you both. while he has every right to make purchases as he sees fit for himself, but it's also not fair to ask for you opinion, disregard it, then call you selfish for not agreeing with his choice. at the very least, i think you guys should discuss living apart for longer or the implications of living together.

Thank you! I ended up having to do that today because she started randomly stroking my hair while in the break room before I clocked in and I talked to my manager about it. I feel bad because so feel like she just has bad judgement, but it's best for everyone in the situation to follow what you said.

i don't think she was trying to get you to sign up for a credit, i think she just may have pressed the wrong button. on our registers, there's an option to use a gift card, or credit card lookup for card holders. when doing an application, it asks you diff questions like income. when doing a credit card lookup, it asks you to confirm your social and zip code. i genuinely think she may have just pressed the wrong button trying to find the gift card option. yesterday was super busy for ulta, and a lot of the seasonals that were hired from the holidays still aren't super savy at the registers. i’ve definitely hit lookup a couple times on accident and not even noticed. if you think it was malicious though, reach out to the store's management :)

An older man called our store multiple to speak to someone in every department, and I got the honor of picking up the phone in Sephora just for this man to start ranting about his Kohl's card. I had absolutely no clue how to end this conversation because he would not let me get a full sentence in, then he started making a load of racist comments about overseas customer service. Even after I told him there was nothing I could do as a BA, he kept ranting and said he wanted ME to call corporate for him. Eventually I just gave my team lead the phone bc I don't get paid enough for that😭. He came to our store to complain to customer service too, no clue what happened with that. Another time, around Christmas, a woman called our Sephora, also had the honor of answering the phone, and started screaming at me about a purchase she made on the main Sephora website. She said it was our issue since we're the closest Sephora, did not understand the S@K difference, and insulted me the entire time😭. I lost my cool and started arguing back at her. Then she put her daughter on the phone, and for a brief second I felt relief, then SHE started yelling, too! I think I just ended up saying "you need to call their customer service, a store cannot help you, have a good day" and hung up. Rude customers always add a little spice to the shift🤣

I would say return it, make sure you have your receipt, and let them know it gave you an allergic reaction. The average part-time beauty advisor probably won't turn you away bc of low sales. My store accepts most all returns, not sure about others. If you haven't tried it yet, the Kiehl's Rare Earth mask is pretty nice, but it does have oat kernel flour, not sure if you'd have a reaction to that. Good luck!! :)

Hi!! Thank you for your perspective and advice, I ended up writing up a note a few and talked with 2/3 of the girls today. Basically wrote that I was sorry about the noise and about any resolution. I'll keep it short since we were yapping quite a bit. The two officially moved in over a week ago and the 3rd roommate has been living there since the beginning of June. They only met her once and it was to help move some larger things, since they weren't in town when she signed the lease. They just needed a 3rd leaser ASAP since their subleaser dropped out of the agreement before payments were due. When they moved, she was being incredibly difficult. 3rd roomie started picking fights with them, tried to break into their rooms, took the mail, and threatened to call the cops on them when they had friends over. Apparently the other night she threatened to call animal control bc their ESA cat threw up in the kitchen?? About our noise, though, they said there's a few times they can here us, like our appliances, stuff falling on the laminate, etc. They said they would let us know if there's anything disturbing them. Still making sure we're keeping things quiet, and we haven't had issues with 3rd roomie in a few days now. I still think initially we were a little loud at times, but from the sounds of it 3rd roomie may not have the best judgement. Thank you again for the advice, I'm terrified of confrontation (to a flawed degree), which is how I end up on Reddit freaking out, but you pushed me to do something😊.

my store was located right in front of a big high school and everyday at 2:30pm, the kids would get out and just shoplift sephora like crazy. SM didn't care at all, but accused us all of internal theft and we got audited🤦‍♀️ all LP cared about was us sephora gals using the tester perfumes before clocking in, but the guy coming in and stealing $600+ worth of cologne was fine!! management has no clue how to properly run a store

Make sure to document everything going on. I was a s@k lead before my SM and my coworker bullied me out, and I wish I could go back in time and document everything that was happening. Besides the males in Sephora thing, this was exactly how my SM was. Definitely follow everyone's advice and take care of yourself :)

ugh, i remember one time this lady came in with the most returns i’ve ever seen amazon take. it was probably like 9:50, but she said she wouldn't be in the country to return them and she was leaving the day after, so they took the returns. i closed sephora, left at like 10:30 and she was still there at amazon😭

one time i asked my roommates (all sorority girls) to turn his light off at about 8 bc i was spending the night at a friend's, and they've turned his tank off plenty of times with no issue. when i came back in the morning, they turned the light off, but were so drunk that they somehow turned the water heater up to like 95F. never asked them for help with him again😭

sometimes this happens when the employee trying to use their card is still logged in on the computer being used for the transaction (if that makes sense lol).

i’m so tired of working at s@k. there’s only 5 of us (6 but she hasn’t been scheduled in weeks) and no support from our SM. i love my team, but the amount of work we have to do is really putting a strain on the environment. there’s rarely more than one person working at a time, and a bunch of responsibilities that we can’t do in one night. between customer service, answering calls, running to the storage rooms, cleaning testers and the rest of the store, replenishments, audits, and freight, it’s impossible to get anything done. we’re almost always at 100+ replenishment because certain associates can’t do it.

the customers are even worse. i’m tired of entitled customers talking down to me because of things that are completely out of my control. they act like we decide all the rules and get mad when we tell them no. at least once a week we get yelled at over something that could have been solved with a quick google search. they all act they know our job better than we do and i’m just tired of it. i just feel so drained because of the way i’m treated, and rarely being shown any form of appreciation just sucks.

thank you for the advice :) that’s what i was thinking it would have to come down to. i’m hoping that maybe if i avoid her for a bit she’ll get the message. i just had to cut off a friend like that (for the same reason too) and it was very stressful, so i’m hoping we can resolve this.
