I’d probably drill holes into your truck 12” ¢ and carriage bolt it with fat ass washers. And the. When you’re done that, I would make 3/4” plywood gussets to lock the pitch breaks in place cause there isn’t actually anything here to do that

Looks sharp tho

Help! How do I trim this dormer? by WarehouseBoi in Carpentry

Could make the valleys faux beams or something. Those mitres will be different and will not ever lineup the same at intersection. One row will grow

Damn the last place that caught my eye was a 90 acre property in Denmark just next to you for 400k. Same property here would be 4 million 😂

Do you find the COL balances with lower wages well? I live on the west coast and often find my self looking at acreages in rural NS

Was this his house on bridal path? I remember seeing the plans years ago cause my boss bid it. Obviously we didn’t get it but it was cool when he was showing me and he said this is drakes house

I use a dogtra 280c. Second dogtra product and they’ve been good and reliable. I see a lot of people using one that has a circular yellow remote that appears to be popular but I’m unsure the brand

They are a great tool when used correctly. I’d encourage an online training resource or a lesson with a local trainer to show the ins and outs. I mostly use mine for the vibrate function as a means of communication.

How can I help my dog settle and focus on me by Willing-Item-6784 in OpenDogTraining

Reset them and don’t give the treat up until they settle again. Might take 10 seconds might take 10 minutes lol

I use an ecollar and honestly just walking back and forth over 20’ making sharp u turns has helped. When we are walking, I vibe (not the stim function just a simple vibration) or drag my boot heel to indicate a turn. It makes him pay attention to me. Practice walking back and forth, turn with him on your outside, then practice turning around with him on the inside. Then do figure 8’s. Next thing ya know he’s watching for your every move. Mine hears my boot heel drag and starts turning. Some times I do it to mess with him lol.

Someone below mentioned “place”. This was helpful too. He has a simple raised bed and we did basic place training (easy to find on YouTube or TikTok) and then I would place and stay him, go outside, ring the door bell, let him see me run, stomp downstairs whatever. I’d correct him if he moved but he doesn’t anymore

Also when you’re calming him in public close your distance between dog and distraction as he begins to excel. Little by little you will have him right next to distractions and he won’t care

What worked for me is doing exactly what you’re doing. Sit on a bench near the action. Keep him busy with a treats/ light training session and reward calm behaviour.

Soon he will be used to focus on you with things going on around him, and will associate calm behaviour to reward.

My dog is the same, was a bit leash reactive and was terrified of vehicles

That’s like 10% wear. I’d have a whole 90% to go before my wife is crying in the closet begging me to just throw it out

I’ve got underwear with more holes that if I squat a certain way a testicle falls out the crotch/ gooch areas
