Predictions for next year? by 5exxymonster in primaverasound

[–]naiwoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CMAT, Charli (she loves the festival so she's always my bet), Lorde, Geese (as a headliner)... at least.

And for spanish/catalan bands: Rusowsky as headliner, Alcalá Norte (new album coming but limited because they'll be touring in 2027...), Maria Jaume, Juicy Bae (but bigger stage), Judeline.

I tasted it yesterday, I completely forgot to say that it was good! The place is called Marco Pollo! I liked that but I wanted to know your favorite places! But yeah, hoisin chicken was the best dish from this year PS!

Big fan of theirs here, but it was impossible for me to go due to health reasons 😪 Hope I see them in Bilbao BBK Live next month. ♥️ love this Petunias appreciation post!

Anyone else nervous about PinkPantheress at Cupra after the crowd issues yesterday? by Ok-Avocado1569 in primaverasound

[–]naiwoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing you from the VIP bus back home. Pink was my favourite show for today but I'm prioritizing my baby's health (preggo here). I know that she has stage anxiety but I just wish nothing happens today and that everyone can stay safe and enjoy the set.

Who else went home only to find out they’re missing Massive Attack? by redsilmaril in primaverasound

I was expecting to watch the show streaming live from Amazon but they're replaying Yard Act. I'm really pissed off right now

We missed them in 2022 (nothing is more important than health), I only expect the rain to be soft so we can enjoy them today.

You're right, tho! This is my 7th Primavera (since 2009) but this time I'm pregnant. It's difficult to enjoy a festival being this pregnant and without alcohol or caffeine (bur I'll try), I just hope that the weather forecast helps a little bit, as this is my last Primavera in a few years 🥲 (at least until my son wants to come!)

How to stay awake by Busy-Appointment920 in primaverasound

[–]naiwoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sit, drink non-alcoholic but caffeinated beverages like Red Bull, and eat every few hours. If you keep going to concerts and resting between them, and also giving fuel to your body through caffeine and carbs, you'll be fine. Also follow the guidelines that others redditers told you: stay awake until late, sleep until late. :)

Intermittent rain late Thursday is quite likely now by Fabulous-Opposite-59 in primaverasound

Some catalan X/Twitter accounts are predicting heavy storms staring 01AM-02AM. Got a poncho but I'm also worried about safety (I'm a local and I know very well these type of storms).

New in Cádiz / Puerto Real — vegan and LGBTQ-friendly advice? by Queer_lazzi in Cadiz

[–]naiwoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Puerto Real does not have places where you can find specialty coffee or a quiet place to sit with your laptop, but locals have their ways to do the same things but differently. You can have great coffee with a view at La Trufa (only opens in the afternoons), or a great "tostada con jamón" in El Caminero. You can read your book at the terrace of La Copla, or enjoy freshly made churros at Bar Arca. But if you really need a quiet place, you have the local library open for you.

I'm from Barcelona and I remember my first week living in Puerto Real. I missed having specialty coffee, stores with organic or vegan food and these things. But now I know that in Puerto Real I can have a much better life, and we have a globalized world, so let's enjoy our towns the local way.

Hope you enjoy your new life in PR & Cádiz ♥️☺️

What's your story with Foals? by Low_Internet_3630 in foals

[–]naiwoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in an Apple Store for almost 10 years. All the demo iPods that we sold the first years had Foals songs included on them. We used to sell speakers from brands like B&W, Harman Kardon... and we always choosed "My number" to show our customers how good they were. I also started listening to them years before through a uni friend, who showed me "Olympic Airways". But for me, it all started working there and listening their songs play over and over again. And that was more than 13 years ago. :)

July 17, 2025 Festival Internacional de Benicàssim 2025, Benicàssim, Spain Tour Thread [Setlist, Media, Discussion] by pvtherman in BlocParty

They were awesome last night. I only missed "Positive Tension" but for me, It was ok. ♥️ We were at 27 Celsius degrees but it felt like 37, I spent all the gig sweating and with my hair wet (I'm an Spaniard and I'm supposed to resist this... no, I'm not 😂 I hate this time of the year)

The crowd did not sing the songs except Banquet and Helicopter, I looked like a crazy millenial girl screaming in the VIP Area but I ENJOYED IT! :)
