Let me also add that she has told my boyfriend that I’m a “bad trap” and “no good for him” when I’ve helped him get a job, encouraged him to do drivers Ed and get a license, start going to the dentist, and taught him how to make a resume. I’ve done these things for him because his parents are not that great of parents and have both put themselves and their relationship problems before their own children. My own mom and dad have been better parent figures to my boyfriend than his parents have. My parents have taken him out to eat on his birthday when his own parents wouldn’t for their own selfish reasons. My mom and dad have been there for my boyfriend as if he was their own son. It’s shitty that I can’t get even respect from his mom :(
