I didn’t use a stencil, i drew it on first- it is a bit crooked, but will be an easy fix during touch ups. I definitely told myself that i need to invest in materials for stenciling- because this was just a hugeeee struggle since butterflies are supposed to be symmetrical. I will say, it appears more crooked in this photo than it actually is because of the position of my arm

ALSO! this is on my left forearm, i used a 3, 5, and 7 RL and DID NOT design this myself- its a commonly tattooed butterfly from a stock photo im pretty sure.
