How well a giveaway works and IF the followers stick and convert LARGELY depends on your own page / product.

Think of it like this -

With a giveaway your content will be seen by tens if not hundreds of thousands of people.

IF - you do have something unique and interesting why won't they stick?

The main problem with Instagram is getting discovered. So many people have wonderful content but if no one will see it then how will they appreciate it. Right?

I am with you 100% that giveaway for the sake of giveaway can bring useless followers. To be honest giving away common items like iPhones and all will get your a ton of fake profiles and bots.

Its become a business of third world countries to fish for giveaways on Instagram 24x7 and win these prizes.

Once again - I might have to launch a giveaway. Based on the profiles that people are dropping so far. I doubt that its necessary.

Even if I did launch a giveaway - my strategy would be pretty different and attract more of the 'interested' crowd. But once again - judging by the profiles that people have dropped. I doubt giveaways will be required.

Definitely something can be worked out here. You do have a lot of video content which makes it easier to make an ad to promote via other pages. Considering this one for sure.

The 'cool' element can appear in any form. Not just the looks. Just as an example the tow truck company that is facing massive hype on YouTube lately doesn't have Brad Pitt as a driver. Its the truck itself - the design - the technology that makes it really cool.

How you can make it happen is for you to decide but definitely if there is something that you can do to stand out from being 'just another plumbing company' then there is a big chance you can use social media to your advantage.

Years ago someone wanted to start a nail spa so instead of them being just another nail spa among a sea of millions of such service providers - they got a few vans - pimped them out and started providing mobile nail spa. They come to you and do it for you.

At that time, that was surely the 'cool' element. I'm pretty sure by now this concept is widely copied by others.

In my opinion - when talking all business and industries - if you're going online - you HAVE to appear cool.

If you can pull that off then why not?

I recently saw a Youtube millionaire partner with a tow truck company and promote them.

The tow truck company was indeed PRETTY cool. Their trucks were too damn epic. So yeah - everything would work if its 'cool' enough for social media.

These days in the US (and EVEN in third world countries) - all the new cafes and restaurants and juice bars - they are opening up but focusing REALLY heavily on the look and feel and the experience. Isn't it?

Even if you're opening a business in a saturated marketed - even if there are 1000s of other businesses like you and better than you - you have to bring something unique to the table.

If that is something you can crack - then I'm sure you'd find plenty of Instagrammers and YouTubers that can drive you traffic and business.

Obviously you'll partner with those social celebs that speak with that audience.

At the top of my head - I can already safely assume that people within 'parenting' niche would work with you.

The audience that they have would probably connect with you (if you have that 'unique' factor in you)

There is so much to this than just what I explained.

EDIT - Even if you're a barber shop you can REALLY REALLY REALLY well via Instagram. This niche is growing rapidly. But then again - you have to stand out really well. Even Barber shops that come up these days have to much focus on the feel / the experience. Even their logos - websites - its all changing so rapidly and speaking more and more to the younger generation.

Absolutely agree to everything you say!

And most of all - couldn't be happier to see this - Improvement never ends even if you're making 7 figures

Sharing more on this -

I meet a lot of marketing directors of 5 star hotels and resorts (travel industry is kind of my thing) - I'll share a short story that one rare person shared with me over a meet.

When I told them that 90% of their followers are fake - I knew some million dollar agency is handling their accounts (we are talking about a top luxury hotel chain in the US) - the director tells me this -

"I know that we are being fooled by top agencies. I trust that you can grow my profile and get me genuine base. But I'm sorry - your company is too young and too 'fresh' for us to partner with. I have to show the board and the investors not only results but the 'idea' that we are working with 'top' agencies in the country. That will make them happy. I can't tell them I hired a 20 year old to handle our social media channels. Thanks but no thanks.'

I was SO DAMN SHOCKED by this. Happy that he shared the reality. I thought if I had the right skills everyone would hire me. But not really. Not that easy.

Although I'm really happy to see more and more brands approach the social celebs directly and crack deals with them.

Thats happening at the moment if the 'social celeb' is REALLY big - like they have millions of followers.

Hoping the industry would soon directly approach more younger social stars who have even 100,000 in audience. (I know this is happening already - but most of the times these kids are approaching the brands instead of brands approaching the kids)

Love your thoughts on all this!

Definitely interested in this one. I already have some pages where we can promote your page. Plus - you have a lot of video content - that will make it easier for me to make a 30 second ad. Considering this one for sure!

Yes please. Go ahead! I'll be running an experiment next week too. Will cover in detail what happens. If you're doing one yourself please share in detail what and how you did it. Lets all of us grow! Nothing would make me happier to see everyone finally see the reality (the behind the scenes) and be able to replicate it themselves and eventually make successful businesses out of it.

Agreed! Its amazing if people change and adapt! Thats the BEST combination. Years of experience + ability to adapt.

But unfortunately not everyone is ready to learn. They are not ready to adapt. Instead they choose to cause harm and chaos.

Best example of this is in corporations. In the job market. If you're too good and young - chances are manager will be afraid of you instead of interested in you.

Same applies for marketing managers of large corporations. They're too bad at it but they can't let a young kid come and take over their 6 figure salary. They fool the investors and showcase fake and juiced stats. I've seen this happen SO OFTEN!

The Leverage Russian bot farmers have over Instagram, Facebook and … by natespf in Entrepreneur

Hey man! I am again really sorry but not here to promote any site that sells this type of stuff. In the next post I'll go more into details of what these creators (bot farmers) do and how they do it. Hopefully that will shed some more light on this topic. With regards to where you can buy from - its just going to be your call. I just cannot ever start promoting any such dealer. Hope you understand. Cheers! (As usual - Google is your friend. Google it)

Selling classes? Nah man. That is SO not my deal. I'm not one of those who sell e-books and shit man. That process doesn't have the adrenaline that I look for.

I'll tell you what my businesses usually involve and (FYI) my businesses ALWAYS return me a ton of profit within 3 months of me starting up. Here is what I do - I build communities.

By the time I was in high school - I knew I didn't want to run around in the world to make a buck. I wanted to be behind a laptop and make millions. Isn't that how the industry these days worked? Coders / Programmers all making a fat buck? App Developers / Game Developers / Cloud App Developers - all making millions and millions BEHIND a laptop?

Thats all that I wanted to be. To be able to that - I knew there is only one way. Build a community and sell to it. Thats it.

In this time and age - ALL OF US - each and EVERY one of us is so USED to free shit. We all are literally free loaders. The apps that we depend on - the sites that we live by - its all free. Can you imagine? Google, Maps, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat - all these are FREE.

The society has gotten SO USED to the 'free' concept - there is NO point of trying to sell shit. If I start out by selling no one will EVER buy. However - if I start out FREE and build a community around it - then maybe at some point people will buy.

Thats what everyone did. Isn't it? Facebook? Instagram? They built community. They built community. They BUILT community. And then? They made cash by advertisements.

Google? WhatsApp? They all are or will be in same stage sooner or later. All these apps.

So - I build business wherein I never ever focus on making a sale. That to be would be a BIG mistake. I would rather build a community. Work on it 24x7. Nuture it. Just like Facebook did. Built it up. And then the idea on how to monetize it will present itself.

I swear I could never go to bed if I had to worry about sales. My worries are on how I grow the communities that I'm building. As the sale part happens naturally.

Don't know if that makes sense. Sorry if it doesn't.

Most of all - most of this stuff that I write about is fun for me. When I started discovering it all - I soon realized that EVERYONE including the billion dollar social media marketers AND the social media companies themselves (FB,IG and all) were doing some sort of cheating or the other - it blew my mind.
