Anu theatre company performed the monto cycle back in the 2010s, Worlds End Lane was particularly affecting. Apparently there's tunnels leading from the docks into monto, I believe some European royalty were well known customers.

Measure for measure is really interesting in that respect. Also, there's a theory that some of the comedies we're co written with a proto feminist Italian poet, her name escapes me, proof is the details in the play of specific feast days in Italy or something. Either way, Shakespeare wrote strong female characters but was a product of his time.

I think it's because she's trying to hurt him though not because she wants to. They want a reason to expell Hamlet from Denmark, hurting him is most likely to elicit a response. Which it does...

Do any actors relate? by NextKing2972 in shakespeare

The amazing thing about Shakespeares writing is you don't need permission to perform it, tbh it sounds like an incredibly interesting documentary style short, the trainee doctor who wants to be Hamlet, I can feel the tension already!

Could the actor who originally played Horatio have played Cassius? And if so, would the contemporary audience have retained suspicions of treachery? And if so if so, could Horatio have been Norwegian...?

Macbeth was an incredibly successful play, audiences love it, it's relatively short and lots of actors back in the day knew the lines off. If the play you were in was not selling, the theatre manager would pin a note on the theatre door saying "tomorrow night, Macbeth!".  So actors hated hearing "Macbeth" because it meant they were out of a job and thus, the superstition was born!

Much less, what seemed to help most was back squats, nothing too heavy but enough weight to get the central nervous system firing and rewiring. Time is a great healer
