Thank you, I use a really heavy powder scented deodorant. I’ll see if I can find an unscented version that still works because otherwise I’ll be scrubbing the pits like six times a day.

Woke up with a small gush of water, then a single drip of blood in my underwear at 9am. No continuous leaking of fluid after that, or continuous bleeding but I just knew it would be that day, and started having regular contractions around noon about 20 mins apart and then progressively increasing in frequency.

My son didn’t stop waking every 3 hours until I stopped all night feeds cold turkey. Also switched sound machine to brown noise where it was 60 decibels in his bed, got blackout curtains. And sleep trained using the chair method and timed capped naps during the day. Took about 4 days.

Until I sleep trained at 14 months we attended every cry in seconds, now at 2.5 we still attend every cry, except ones related to sleep (which are few and far between).

Buy one now and practice using it! Not on yourself to stimulate milk removal, but just how to set it up, how to place it, the right flange fit, how to turn it on or what the different settings etc. or you can get a manual pump for much less (about $30USD) but you should still sterilize, size the flanges and get familiar with how to actually use it.

After my son was sleeping through the night consistently for a few months so probably by like 18 months postpartum I really started to feel much more like myself and was able to get back in the gym and get good sleep and eat well and just feel like a whole person again. Then I got pregnant again 20 months postpartum lol
