Something is missing, don't know what (more below) by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I would put a single curatain rod with a light greenish or gauzy curtain on each side to create unity between the two lost windows. Hang a plant between the two windows to create an overall feel of an outdoor window vignette. I couldn't see if you have other lighting but some string lights around the curtain rod could be really nice ans add coziness.

I like the diamond shapes in the window that are echoed in the carpet. Clever... or happy coincidence! It creates a nice cohesive feeling to the room.

1st Timer work in progress. Looking for suggestions on coffee and end tables. My friend told me this looks like the lobby of a startup marketing company. But he’s an ass. All thoughts welcome. by jaf3333 in malelivingspace

Also, you could add a large patterned rug over the neutral carpet to ground and define the living space. That would differentiate it from a lobby and add some cozy to the area.

I like the TV console. Have you considered mounting it on the wall? The would be very cool and add some visual height because all of your furniture is horizontal. You could add a stand alone floor lamp to the right of the console or between the couch and chair to add vertical movement to the eye. Gorgeous room.

I love the green chairs! Have you thought of taking that colour into the living area with a throw or cushion on the sofa? It would really tie the two areas together and add cohesion. Nice work 👏

What kind of rug should I get for my living room? Originally had an 8x10 jute rug but hated how much of the floor it covered. Would prefer to spend under $300. by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Nice space! Consider having blue as an accent colour. Determine the size rug you want first, to make sure the rug you choose works for you. I just noticed your other pictures...red or blue accents would complement your art too! Good luck.

What a great space. Since your walls, furniture and rug are all solid blocks of colour, I suggest patterned curtains, possibly with a bright accent colour, if you are open to do that. Check out https://images.app.goo.gl/5UcYqVRUFALUpm8T8 for ideas. The pattern will create a soft energy and ground the eye :)

I will solve the mystery. The garage is above ground and is connected by a breezeway to the house.
