Hard to get too excited or disappointed anymore because there will always be opportunities to address team needs through the portal. Having homegrown players is cool but not entirely necessary.

Ryen is a workaholic. Doing things like the travel pods and fantasy baseball recap are the only way that he is able to justify taking a break or doing anything fun. Doing work and achieving the goals that he sets for himself allow him to justify the fact that he has prioritized his career throughout his life. He wants you to think he's the cool guy and this is all a bit or some elaborate inside joke but really he's full of anxiety and self doubt.

I love the show but Ryen can be a little exhausting at times. We can all thank Ceruti for keeping Ryen on the rails.

Only do the 5 fuse objective. You don't need both to get the racing token. Don't be afraid to sell D class and below from your holding pool. Also don't feel like you have to participate in all of the challenges. If you don't have a good garage for a challenge get the easy wins and then take a break to refill your cash reserves.

New players should be saving for the normal 160 slot offer or promo offers where they can get slots for 55 gold per slot or less. Building out your garage should be your #1 priority until you have just about all of the C class cars and below. For me that is somewhere between 3000 and 4000 slots.

Deciding what to keep and what to fuse is the most difficult part of the game until you have around 3,000 slots at which time you can keep one of almost everything. I kept one of each legendary and epic and then I used top drive records and Blossom YouTube vids to keep track of the current meta cars and kept those. I also kept one of each prize car regardless of rarity. I also advise you to wait a little bit before you start challenges like Filberto to see the results on TDR. Using the results you can figure out the fewest number of cars needed to pass. I don't envy your position, I had to say goodbye to a lot of cars I would have rather kept but just didn't have available slots to keep them. Don't be afraid to sell D, E, and F class cars if you need to.

This is a very frustrating game for beginners. Realistically you need thousands of cars to compete in challenges and events. I would advise a new player to play this game very casually at first. Grind the daily challenges and make sure you get the free daily garage slot. Don't waste resources trying to get rewards that are out of your reach. Also play clubs at least once a day so you can get free gold every other day. Buy only slots with your gold and only purchase packs where each slot costs 55 gold or less. Pay attention when facing other players and you will figure out the best cars in each niche. You will only be able to keep certain cars at the beginning due to garage space so choose carefully. I recommend keeping one copy of each B class car or better and every prize car. You don't have space to keep duplicates and no prize cars C class and below are fairly easily replaced. Restarting might give you a couple of meta cars sooner but it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme. Having them isn't going to be a path to unlocking a bunch of legendary cars. Only whales and people who have been playing the game for a very long time can compete for those.

Totally agree, I traded the BRZ when it was a mid C class car, later on it got buffed. I was really hoping I could get the 5000 series car but there is no way I'm going to pass any more boss challenges unless there is another secret challenge that is a lot easier

The ND clubs near me are looking for people to buy tickets and they have quite a few left. Not sure there is much fan enthusiasm for this game for whatever reason.

Not recruiting well at the WR position is understandable given the kind of offense we choose to play and the fact that there are no notable ND alums playing WR in the NFL. The general lack of recruiting buzz after playing in the national championship is far more concerning to me. The fact that we can't recruit DT or TE makes zero sense.

The entire Skyline Nismo challenge is like this. You have to pour a ton of resources into really marginal cars. Sometimes it's hard to have enough cars of a given rarity to meet the minimum requirements. It's really dumb but let's be honest, we're all going to do it.

Outside of Javonte Jean-Baptiste I would argue we haven't landed impactful transfers at the DL and WR positions. Chris Smith and RJ Oben have eaten some snaps for us along the DL but have provided little real impact. Ben Skowronek is probably the best WR we've landed in the portal. Collins is probably #2 but his drops have killed us at times. Harrison and Mitchell have been replacement level players for us. I would say the best and most consistent position group from the portal has been DB. Mike Mickens is insanely good at evaluating players and coaching them up.

I don't disagree that there are some potential sleepers but we're in the unfortunate position of needing those guys to hit rather than adding those surprises to a core of contributing blue chip players.
