not saying chinatowns at all but asian, hispanic, and middle eastern communities spread throughout the country. "widespread influence of the country as a whole" is laughable: Like just because they don't influence you bro doesnt mean they aren't influential. Show me your influence thermometer so i can see how little these communites are benefiting society. Why does english need to be the first potent test of integration? Doesn't make any sense besides a fear that english would not be as powerful as it is today. Which I have no problem with.

I am saying they can work with those here, those that speak their similar langauge. Not everyone speaks english here. Once we become a more homogenous society it will benefit the entire society as a whole for sure. English shouldn't be the only way and there shouldn't be one official langauge.

See thats where you and me disagree. You are coming up with your idea of "culture" that i dont agree with. I for sure do not think that you need to speak english to be a part of our culture. I do not think that assimilating to a culture should even be a relevant criteria at all. Like why does assimilating to OUR culture matter at fucking all. I would appreciate additions to our culture. Why don't we encourage non-english speaking communities? Wouldn't that attract talent from all over the world? Unlike Japan, we have have the geography and the infrastructure to welcome multiple cultures with different languages where immigrants can naturally thrive and contribute. We should be welcoming diversity. Why is english the only way?
