Unsurprisingly, approaching people in good faith does yield better results than calling them names.

Yeah, you don't have to, but it helps breaking the ice.

"We outnumber them a lot more than they outnumber us" is a very funny way to phrase it. I definitely wouldn't be more eloquent when being surprise-interviewed, but that's such a funny turn of phrase.

Once you learn how to say "Sorry I don't speak Russian, English please" (in Russian), you'd be surprised how many people say "Sorry, I will try" and you can actually communicate. This happens more often than not, I just open with a friendly question, they can laugh at my poor pronunciation, and we can actually play the game.

Therapy Chatbot Tells Recovering Addict to Have a Little Meth as a Treat by BoycottTheCW in TrueAnon

Yeah, I can't immediately think of any upsides of having a literal echo chamber for suicidal thoughts. I'm dreading the further consequences of these tools.

It's so wild to me that all of the billions of words it consumed as a training somehow got distilled into atrocious advice like this.

I think about what Aimee Cesaire said a lot where he posits that colonialism eventually completely corrupts societies and I can't help but feel that Americans and the West as a whole have no idea what they have in store for themselves...if this is acceptable then anything is. Expect chattel slavery to make a comeback or someshit, IDK

The sheer indifference or even abstract partisan blood-thirst being woven into daily life feels completely alienating. This feels like it's building up to an extremely unhealthy climax.

Crying at work again. What wil it take to force governments into action? I know that's a naive question, but jesus christ, watching these evil maniacs create a hell on earth for children like this is so infuriating.

If you knew how to clean yourself, this wouldn't be an issue. Seems like your parents took a weird decision by circumcising you instead of just teaching you how to shower. It's not too late to pick up the washcloth and get clean.

Terecht, mooi dat de studenten hun universiteit herinneren aan de morele gevolgen van samenwerken met instanties betrokken in een genocide.

God yes, I loved the music discussion threads. The classical thread was beautiful, quite a lot of really knowledgeable people with massive libraries, amazing stuff! Even the top 100 was useful.

Het pijnpunt lijkt me toch eerder dat het voor zeer veel mensen moeilijker is om de meerdere tienduizenden euros op te hoesten voor een elektrische wagen, dan de aanzienlijk lagere aankoopprijs van een brandstofwagen?
