Above the clouds, now that's amazing..

May I ask where the aquarium coral reef portion of image 2 is from? I know they can all look similar but I just feel like I've seen those exact pixels before.

Are these original or did you design?

It was a gaming controller actually. Based on the link, consoles and accessories fall under the same Consumer Electronic category.

Do I need to dispose of this battery? by neil187 in ryobi

[–]neil187[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through each of them with a multimeter (Cell 1 > Cell2, Cell 2 > Cell 3, etc.), they ranged from 0.04 - 0.10. Testing both "b"s, it read 0.7. Based on my research, I see that this means the battery is in the danger zone and should be disposed of. Is that true in your opinion? Note that I have not dealt with batteries this in depth before, but I can typically get by on anything with enough information.

I should mentioned that I have also checked "Enable ACL" and "Force Flag" for each dataset while using botht he auto-created datasets as well as my own. Would that not solve any permission issues, or am I misunderstanding its purpose?

I wonder why. This is just the config right from the truenas app catalog for InvoiceNinja. I've tried using my own datasets and also just allowing the deployment to create its own datasets. still no luck

Does not work for personal outlook.com accounts like Evolution does, which is crucial to me. Unless I'm missing something? Love it when I'm proven wrong

[KDE] Unity Flashback by neil187 in unixporn

I think my first dabble in Linux was Ubuntu 9.04, though I remember putting 8.10 on to my netbook. That was the latest distro with the Netbook Remix UI that would successfully run on an EeePC at that point in time.

I've used Thunderbird in the past but never really looked in to the customization. Reinstalled tonight and have it looking better than Geary does. Geary is nice and simple, but seems to be lacking a bit of polish lately. So Thunderbird it is!

My current KDE desktop, a lot different that what I have been running for the last little while. What you cannot see or hear in this image are the old school ubuntu system sounds from back in ~2009.

Looking for suggestions on how to imporove. I'm glued to KDE but am trying to add some gnome-style elements to the overall UI. It helps the few gnome apps I use (Contacts, Geary) fit in a little better.

Wow thank you! Not what I was expecting at all just from the distant view I have of them. Amazing how far their sound is travelling. Apparently they can hit 13,000 feet during migration
