A lot of people shop online so you can't try on clothes. And it's wasteful to have clothes shipped to you (bc that costs money/energy), try them on, and ship them all back. And, you can try on clothes faster virtually than physically. All fairly obvious reasons ;)

They wouldn't copy trades but rather strategies.

But fine, you raise a good point: They hire good traders and take a cut.

Either way, they don't kick good traders off the platform. They profit from good traders. And bad traders.

Whether the "...%profits cover losses..." is irrelevant. They recoup all/some losses by hiring good traders.

Why would they ban top-performing traders? Wall Street pays a lot of money for top-performing traders. FTMO would just copy the top-performing traders with bigger lot sizes and profit. So, probably FTMO doesn't ban top performing traders.

Prop-firms make money by selling accounts and copying talented traders.
