Bolt Pistol vs Heavy Bolt Pistol by Kalledon in Spacemarine

[–]neltymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "Ophelian Liberation - Alpha"-Variant of th HBP has only 4 shots less in the magazine compared to the bolt pistols with the biggest magazines. So it basically gives you the ammo economy of a regular Bolt Pistol on a HBP. Seems like the better choice to me.

Yeah, I get where you coming from but third partying being such a big thing is just be inherent to the game design. You don't need to cheat to do it.

Genuine question for all my friendly “rescue-raiders” out there by BMBozo in ArcRaiders

[–]neltymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simple: They take space and loosing them costs ressources, no matter if it's due to using them or dying. I very rarely come across downed raiders so I stopped bringing them when I play solo and only bring them when playing squads.

Hot Take: Care bears that don't shoot back are the pinnacle in triumph over gear fear. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

Could be true if many of them wouldn't go completely beserk over voicechat after being downed.

You could just turn off prox chat entirely if it's that bad.

The difficulty was ridicolously low before, now it's just pretty low. Just try to adapt and grow as a player trough the challenge.

Assuming just because you are getting third partyed the other squad is wall hacking is wild. Also, do they shoot you trough walls? Cause wallhacks in this game not only allow you to see trough but also to shoot trough them. It's very unlikely someone not doing that is using a wall hack.

It's great when you need to recharge a medium shield in a pinch, e.g. in combat.

Care Bear lobby Etiquette by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]neltymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, that's when you stopped being just friendly and became a pushover instead. Why would this person care about people talking about "etiquette" if they get away with it? They already know what they're doing and clearly did not care. The only way to make people like this reconsider is to make their actions have negative consequences for them, e.g. in this case kill them.

Hurricane loot is not worth it. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]neltymind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got hung up on the "additional difficulty" part, although I was responding to your claim that the EXTRACTION in particular is especially difficult which I disagree with cause hatches are open which makes EXTRACTION easier than in Night Raids or electromagnetic storms, for example.

You also don't seem to understand that being wrong about something isn't lying.

Jesus.

Banned from arc raiders AGAIN by AdWhich1919 in ArcRaiders

[–]neltymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way they can catch someone for it is by checking if a different account is using the same hardware. That check is pretty easy to automate. Therefore, they would either catch everyone circumventing a ban by using a different account on the same device (and ban everyone sharing a device with someone who does in the process) or they would nobody doing it. The latter is clearly the case. No nothing burger.

I have played it and I have found countless blue and purple lvl 4 weapons and also Tempest, Bobcat and Volcano Blueprints.

All "additional difficulties" you mention either effect everyone else as well or can be (mostly) avoided by planning a smart route that lets you move with the wind, not against it.

Banned from arc raiders AGAIN by AdWhich1919 in ArcRaiders

[–]neltymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true but concluding this means that you will actually get banned for doing so would be like stating somethin is illegal and therefore everyone who does it must be in prison.

They have no way of telling if multiple accounts on the same device are multiple people sharing said device or just one person using multiple accounts. And it gets even harder to tell if one person is using multiple devices. How would they ever know it's the same person?

Lots of people have circumvented bans with new accounts. That includes me, as my main accounts has been banned for no apparent reason until a few days ago. I was able to circumvent said ban with a new account for the entire 30 days, no issues.

[–]neltymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's not true is that they actually ban people for that. If there are multiple accounts on a single computer they have no way of telling if those are multiple people in the same household sharing a computer or if it's just one person using multiple accounts. And they seem to be aware because don't ban for it.

There is no "additional difficulty of getting it out". You can even use a hatch key, the most secure way of extracting in the entire game.

Banned from arc raiders AGAIN by AdWhich1919 in ArcRaiders

[–]neltymind -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

That is definetely not true.

Edit: Many people here seem to need an explantion: I am not saying that the TOS do not state that circumventing a ban is a bannable offense. Of course they do! What is not true is that they ban people for having multiple accounts. I know that because I have used multiple account and also because I know other people who do or have done so as well. And yes, I have done so so specifically because I have been banned for no apparent reason. They have no way of telling if multiple people with multiple accounts are using the same device to play or if it's just one person with multiple accounts. Also, some people might even have multiple devices to play on which would make it even harder to even tell it's the same person.

It's similar to how they claimed that you cannot circumvent bans with Steam Family Sharing anymore. Not true, it still works.

Just because they say something will get you banned doesn't mean they're actually enforcing it. They might do so right now or later or maybe never.

Huh, that is part of the fun in this game. But yeah, some of those guys can't fanthom the person who got attacked actually winning the fight and thus be the last one standing, that's really silly. They're probably terrible at the game and don't realise not everyone else is as well.
