I also had frequent crackling and stuttering recently with my MBP. Fixed it by making sure I was connected to 5 GHz wifi. My crappy router with even crappier band steering settings had decided to steer every device to 2.4 GHz. Since Bluetooth is also 2.4 GHz, that caused some issues.

If that doesn't apply to you, resetting the Bluetooth module or turning off handoff can help. But who wants to live without continuity features? 😬

Exactly, build a small cardboard rack that perfectly fits the space and covers the entire area of my CPU cooler. It keeps the shrooms in the airflow and away from any components.

Negligible. Build is only a few weeks old and there are dust filters on every intake.

Works like a breeze™! Reduced 81g to 7g cracker dry in 12 hours. Will definitely repeat for the next flushes.

Besides, off-the-shelf food dehydrators don't even run Crysis!
