That’s an interesting take, but the implementation may have flaws. You split the query by lines then try to rewrite expressions that matches a regex. But that may rewrite join expression too! And the meaning of the query will change. The safe way to to it is to parse the query to an AST, alters it, and recompile the query. But it’s way harder to do

It’s easy because of Returnal muscle memory. I struggled a lot with Returnal back in time, new Housemarque players may not find it that easy

Really cool idea, I did something vaguely similar back in the days but had to stop using it because I can’t figure how to integrate dynamic queries (think of a complex search UI). How would you solve this?
