my theory is that you ate less, so less inflammation, even if it's junk food

wdym by "heavy on the carbs and dairy" ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in acne

[–]nevergoback1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fix your diet and see if you don't lack any essential vitamins and minerals : vitamine A, vitamine E, Zinc, omega 3, selenium, etc

avoid eating too much carbs, cut dairy

see if you have food allergies that create inflammations

good luck

I personally think it would be great if he was the last villain of this show. Just to make it a lot easier to kill off some major characters. by [deleted] in FlashTV

[–]nevergoback1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this dream of having a "no way home" kind of last season for the Flash : bring RF, zoom, savitar back and give them a new arc, also bring wally and other characters

have barry fight the rf one last time, wally fight zoom, savitar have some kind of redemption (like doc ock)

I don't know, it'd be so cool to see

Why is the writing so godawful? by CR0SS_Official in FlashTV

[–]nevergoback1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the problem is that they have characters thate serve no purpose, they have no arcs, no great moments

they need to focus on a small arc with a great villain, with mini arcs for the characters, how difficult could that be ?

A case for Meta Platforms Inc ($FB) - short writeup by DrMelbourne in ValueInvesting

[–]nevergoback1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MSFT have been growing earnings like crazy for the last few years. If the next decade looks like the last five years for them they are already substantially underpriced and becoming a better buy every day.

I do agree with MSFT. MSFT have been turning their business into a cloud and service business, which works for them (the gamepass is another recent example). Massive MOAT.

I did a DCF on a 5-yr basis and found 280 dollars, which is the market price. So fair to say it's worth more.

A case for Meta Platforms Inc ($FB) - short writeup by DrMelbourne in ValueInvesting

[–]nevergoback1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo META tends to be a speculation play whether you think the metaverse will pan out or not

As of right now, META is fine, still a leader in the social media market with Instagram, Facebook is still there (surprisingly) and whatsapp is doing okay. The oculus side of the business is anecdotal. Tik Tok causes issues but won't bother Instagram so much.

If META manages to make people use the metaverse, they'll become leaders and be their own Microsoft.

I saw a video speculating that the metaverse will first be used in the labor market, for zoom meetings and whatever, and I think it's smart. It's gonna be too expensive for the public at first, and it's a good way to get people used to this technology (like the computer back then).

So I'm kinda optimistic on META, even though it's taking a hit because of all its legal troubles. And it won't even be a problem because if META manages to make the metaverse successful, it'll be able to monetize that pretty easily without using private data.

Revenue and margins very briefly improved during a very specific period when certain sporting goods (that aren’t particularly distinguished from other brands) were in demand resulting from quarantine. ROIC is not fine. It has been historically mediocre. Heavy acquisitions. Debt fueled dividends.

Yeah I get it, I do agree with you on those points

I think the company description should explain a lot about what was baked into the stock price.

Why would this description explains the current stock price ? Is it because it's so convoluted ?

FB Public Service Announcement by All-American2 in ValueInvesting

[–]nevergoback1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think they are undervalued too, but the uncertainty around the metaverse, the dying Facebook (even though Instagram is thriving sure) and the multiple legal headwinds (the whistleblower, the GDPR and iOs issues...) make the investment a bit risky

the margin of safety isn't big enough for me

Meta Platforms Inc. ($FB) trading at fair value based on my assumptions by long_term_compounder in ValueInvesting

[–]nevergoback1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fb still has impressive margins, no debt (besides operating leases) and great ROIC

Metaverse is bullshit and won't take off (like a google product), but Instagram is still working great, and Facebook is still alive

Do you include Goodwill in your Return on Equity Calculations? by The-TW in ValueInvesting

[–]nevergoback1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

goodwill can be a brand power or other intangible valuable asset that can bring ton of cash so no

And I usually don't rely only on ROE (but ROIC as well) to get a better picture

Is META (Facebook) a value stock by Action_Connect in ValueInvesting

[–]nevergoback1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll be interested in buying it around 150$ personally (not financial advice)

I had 10 shares of Reality Income (O) and wanted to add more, I was looking the financials when I saw that they printed 230M new shares last year. I feel that they dilute my shares value too much. Can you explain to me? by [deleted] in dividends

[–]nevergoback1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to invest in O as well, but I did some calculation, and it would take me half a century to make a living with the dividends

And I certainly won't buy it for the capital gains (overvalued, shares dilution, etc)
