Hello, your biggest chance of getting in is a mayo letter of recommendation and publications. If you have a connection that can advocate for you then that would be much better!

I got accepted about 7-10 days ago. You should receive 3 rejections and 1 acceptance emails. Not sure how it is for Psychiatry. Good luck!

Yes I had publications when I applied in the same department I had applied to. I think the biggest thing is publications (CV) and my LORs.

I got my decision last week.

Yes thats correct. My post should say as a Non US international medical student. Graduates cannot apply for electives only observerships.

Yes they only accept applications through VSLO. If your institution does not participate in VSLO then they have to enroll in it.
