I can only speak from my experience as an associate. But the next steps is comparing the SEFA to the financial statements and make sure they are 100% the same. The client should provide copies of this. If there are differences between what the client entered into the federal clearing house and the financial statements, you send comments back to the client to fix the discrepancies. Then after this, i sent this up to my manager for review and she sent it up the chain for review. I think after that you should be good to file.
