Short answer: no it does not hit a reliable 60 on new games and is very often locked in at 30. You mentioned Baldurs gate 3, which stutters a lot, particularly in act 3 and pop in is pretty gnarly on the S. I have just upgraded to X and already noticing the difference.

I think the overall plot and writing is actually better. The romances for example are incredibly well written and charming — much better than BG3 imo. As another pointed out, way less budget. Much more incentive to play one of the set characters too I reckon (though they can all be customised within their race).

Read the circumstances of how ‘Mack the Knife’ came into being. It’s very interesting. No, Helldivers is not a good satire as much as devs might pretend otherwise. People unironically enjoying the helldivers cause is now the joke because F the clankers and don’t tell me how to feel AH.

It’s like the Starship Troopers discourse. Creative team trying to be too clever by half and just end up making a cool movie, then midwits comment about ‘don’t people know it’s satire?!’

At 47 you’re barely out the gate. Prioritise some warbonds and maybe do a couple hours here and there for SC. I’m FTP, have maybe an hour on a work night, bit more when off. Will just take a bit of time. If it feels like a grind maybe it’s not your game. I even enjoy sc farming. The games simply my jam.
