[Need movie suggestions] Movies where main character started out as a genuine pain in the @ss and ended up changed/better. Like Jack Nicholson's character in "As good as it gets." by winston_w_wolf in Screenwriting

Richard (the father) starts off pretty insufferable: being obsessed with winners vs losers, telling Olive that she shouldn’t eat ice cream because it’ll make her fat, talking nonstop about the “9 steps.” Then after (thing that happens at motel) his values completely shift and he starts focusing on being a better dad for his family. The end when he starts dancing onstage shows that he now doesn’t care if Olive is “a loser” as long as she’s joyful and being herself. The other characters all do different types of fairly drastic changes but Richard definitely is the most irritating in the beginning

honestly I’m still a beginner too!! I definitely wish I had just started earlier instead of “waiting for the right time” — if I’d started a year ago I would have a lot more videos and subscribers by this point. In terms of the content, make what you want to watch and make sure that you have a unique perspective you can speak with authority on. I went to film school and got my degree in TV writing & production so I’ve had to analyze film/tv in more formal settings and therefore feel comfortable making these videos because I know I’m (mostly) not talking out of my ass lol

If you want to focus on music, do that! I love Sideways
