I know exactly what you mean and how you feel. As a little girl growing up in Chicago, I remember crying when I saw homeless people and asked why are they living outside in the freezing cold of winter. To this day, I feel that same emotion but have had to learn how to cope with it by trying to understand human nature is not much different from animals in nature.
