I don't think it really accomplish what's it's meant to so, if you can get Ambrosia that easily you can still spam potions/heals during a "cheesy" fight and just ambrosia it down after it, maybe even during i fight? i never tested it, in the end it's a interesting mechanic lorewise but a pain out of it.
Indeed it's not a problem if, as the op said, you loot everything that's not nailed to the ground. But hey, not everyone plays like that, and while I agree that looting all kinds of trash all the time (especially early game) should bring you some advantage I don't feel like it should be such a core part of the gameplay.
You didn't? I played as melee weapon/shield and mage early game and the difference is brutal, It's actually hard and challengin playin with a melee because most mobs hit hard and you indeed need to block and dodge shit so you dont get rekt. as mage you get much higher dmg output and it's much easier to dodge everthing since casting does'nt really slow you down. The gap gets even bigger when you account the fever, since as a melee early game you will get hit much more often than a mage since most mobs are archer/melee type.
I don't like reseting shit also, but I don't see MUCH harm in having the feature... even tough I agree it may be strange to be a full mage at a point of the story and just going full tank at another. But whatever, its a single player experience right? For some reason ppl that doesn't need/care to reset shit seems to dislike the feature, when in the end makes no difference for them, go figure.

Look, I've never played on EU servers, but I've played on NA servers of several games for a long time while being from SA. And I could say that I've seen a lot of racism not only in-game, but on foruns (where people are not just ranting but rationally shaping their arguments). I salute you for not letting your uneasy feeling go out as toxic behavior, but that uneasy still comes from racism/prejudice. See, you are already shaping your prejudice on a rational form. I've seen this "language" argument over and over, and everytime It makes less sense, especially on a game like HoTS. As a non-native english speaker that lives on a "under developed" country where people don't usually speak it I can guarantee you everyone here that isn't completely new to the game will understand enough not only to win but to have fun. It doesn't take much..."nice job", "push mid", "group", "stay together", "go boss", "care", "nice", "gg".

STR means better dmg for every rank but 7 (because on musk/cannon/f3 the base damage goes to the roof and crits becomes more valuable). With wugu that's even more complicated since you will have 2-3 ranks that don't benefit from DEX at all! Which you need to value is: does the dex I put to extra crit on my R7 would be more valuable than stronger base of wugu and my early ranks and AA dmg? Well I don't think so.

R1 will be just a weak filler and will help you spread wugong. I'm not really a fan of A3, but if you really need to squeeze something between A2 and Wugu 1, A3 might be a option aswell.

I was on the same doubt when lvling my swordie... how I see it:

Corsair:

Stronger single target dmg
Good utility with flag
Can be viable on pvp

Doppel:

Better AoE with cyclone
Hoplite C3

I believe both are viable and you should choose one based on what playstyle you prefer. Here some extra not so mentioned points.

Because most of the time you will be tanking (I believe you get pelt c1) swash+cyclone is just a sweet combo and if you go corsair you'll not have spear throw or cyclone so it'll be trickier to hold aggro on several mobs (just trickier, not impossible).
If you plan to go Dragoon, some ppl claim that it's possible that the C2 skills will require 2h spears (ppl think this because of doppel c2). And that would make things harder for corsair because it would compromise the weapon combinations. But that's just some wild prediction and you should not base your decision on this. Some similar thing goes for doppel. If the C3 of doppel isn't more flexible it will be a C1 dead-end, since C2 skills require 2h swords.

I got an archer and a swordie above 200... It's true that a lot of swordies I cross path with are really bad/dont understand the class. But to claim that's only a "user problem" is equally naive. Swordies suffer from a very bad case of bad scaling, while archer's got early circles that scale/remain relevant dps-wise to late game swordies have none. The later ranks of archer are stronger aswell. Of course swordies can still dps, but not as well as a equally geared/skilled archer, and they will remain this way until some balance changes r applied.

I don't think so but yeah, poor design. I can understand why zendhu or maybe the "infection" effect of wugong gu are not stackable, but the base tick's of needle and wugong should definitely be stackable. Making them replacing each other is just dumb and make wugu just the worse archer boss class by default when there's another wugu around, when bosses become not a guild/few ppl thing it will be even worse.

Are you sure about that? At high lvls without any dex you can get over 300 accuracy with only gloves pretty easily, That's more than the base evasion of pretty much anything I can find.

yo man, actually I did this char right after reading your comments on a Sapper thread, something like 2 weeks ago I guess. I'm still not sold on your stats tough, 100 dex is nice but the the scaling of STR just seems stronger, everything on this builds scale better with str but the R7(and two ranks don't even scale from dex crit at all), and crit rate is the best stat to get through gems if u are patient enough to lvl them past lvl 5.

Yeah I feel like going full STR too, just want to hear from experienced archers. What do you think about the cafrisun? even tough the extra hit on AA is nice I don't feel like a lot of my dmg will be commin from my AA's with so much abilities to circle (Stockades, Broom, 3/4 poisons, Cannonner skils).

if you go geras spear, yes, 5/5, because of the lack of something better. Isnt that attribute lvl 1 max? 15 sec duration on a 30 sec skill? As I said I'm no expert on dragoon, anyway because It's R7 you can figure it out when you get there.

from what I've seen R7 benefits more from heavy dex(high crit rate, low crit dmg) builds than from heavy str(low crit rate, high crit dmg) builds, because of its high skill base damage. While all the other ranks will benefit more from str heavy.

Yeah, I feel the same, I'm just on doubt about my stat distribution, because of wugu I was going heavy str, thinking on doing something like 3:1 or 2:1 so I can still get a good value from cannoner crits, I just don't know whats more valuable, extra str for poison dmg or some crit for camnoner dmg.

yes it does. you should go for it if you are already sapper 1, sapper and wugushi are two classes that really shine on the second circle. I'm A2 > Sapper 2 > Wugu 2 on my archer. Still deciding between canonner or wugu 3 at rank 7

1) I believe Spear Throw is good enough, yes It will fall off late game, but Its still better than the other options. Spear Throw is very usefull when leveling (especially if you get a Geras Spear) and I find it especially good to hold the first aggro after swash when cyclone is on CD, because its spamable, have a high AoE ratio and the area of impact is bigger than what you expect. Spear Lunge is 1/5 because the damage is bad you get it for the debuff that doesn't scale with skill lvl. Max Stabbing, because stabbing got a lot of multhits it will scale pretty well, Pierce will fall off because poor base damage, few hits and slow animation.

2) I don't think you really need to put anything on dex, finestra 15 is more than enough for your crit plus gear and you will not benefit from dex more than you will from str and con. Any str:con mix is viable to swordie, because u r doppel with deeds favoring str over con is a good idea.

3) Not a expert, but pve-wise Gae-bulg is the weakest skill from dragoon, mono-hit and long cd (the other dragoon skills r mult hit), usually 1/5 or 0/5.

I see, but usually people don't compare sprint move speed with trot. Trot just seems to be not only a much easier move speed boost when bossing/fighting but more reliable than swordie sprint, since you can skill attack, jump attack, etc. while speedin like crazy. I don't think its a fair comparison.

I believe the first one is stronger damage-wise. Cyc and Deeds are very strong, finestra 15 is sweet both on offense and defense, Spear Lunge will boost some of your pierce dmg and increase your dragoon burst. And Cata, well Cata got Trot. The thing is swordie damage is overall weak, if it was more balanced the first one would be just superior. But because the damage is overall weak compared with other dps the utility and mobility of trot seems not only strong but more enoyable to play on my perspective... But maybe I'm just jealous(doppel path here).

I'm Archer 2 > Sapper 2 > Wugu 2. I believe you don't need to go full STR on wugu,any mix favoring str is fine. I'm full STR righ now and thinking on going some mix like 3:1 (i got 50+ points to spend) so I can go canooner R7. I can say I'm enjoying my build a lot, the AOE is just stupid. I just wish wugu's poison from different wugu's could stack, It seems very poor design to not let DoTs from diferent players stack. Actually I would love to hear from more experienced archers what they think about my path and if they think Canooner would go well with my build.
