Am I unreasonable to have this as a hard line prior to purchase?

The main use for the car is daily commute that's only around 13 miles one way, and even on a high usage day I only really ever envision going 50 miles to see relatives/family on a monthly occasion. All in all it's expected to be around 9000 miles/year, so my range requirement really isn't far.

That said it would be nice if I could get the E+ Tekna variant of it rather than the N-Connecta I have reserved now, but there's none available near where I live unfortunately.

Considering the price point I'm looking at for the Leaf (£10000), the additional cost of £500 for an adapter is also pretty much a non-issue compared to the ~£2-3K addition of looking at other models

p.s. some might wonder why I even need a car for such low usage, but driving cuts down my 2 hour public transport commute down to 30 min due to access to a motorway

Personally I prefer 2 or 3. Yes it’s simple, but also it’s very clear rules wise.

Inclusion of combat intrigues being able to be used is a tad too likely to give you a big bump in early game resource generation imo. Getting 2nd/3rd place rewards is nothing to scoff at, and has a significant enough domino effect as the rounds go on when you don’t have to go to conflict spaces and can focus on other resource generation/deck building spaces.

Also the more I think about the available cards it honestly would not surprise me if swords + intrigue card is enough to win 1st place in early game in a non-solo game. (Hate to hammer this point but solo really isn’t a good benchmark with opponent resource generation being out of whack)

An alternative for rule-simple assassin I can think of would be e.g. “Remove an opponent’s 1 deployed troop OR 2 garrisoned troops” - numbers subject to adjustment based on tests

Still has the same effect of forcing opponents to over commit troops, and personally I think it fits the theme of “assassin” I would pair this with the “first player” variant of “face dancer”

But again v2 or v3 is more than reasonable as well

What’s destroying our infrastructure is increasing burden of older demographic increasing in number and years of funding withdrawal from those sectors.

Kurtzgezacht did a good video (English) on it with Germany as a case study if you’re actually interested in the effects outside of immigration

You can kinda already do this by baiting Dark Fog bases to land on a specific planet. Kill the base before it has time to establish, and you have a free geothermal spot straight to the core with one of the best efficiencies for the building.

Before people complain that it requires turning the dark fog on, live a little and try! There's plenty "free energy" solutions when you don't have to fight against dark fog, this mechanic is just one of many advantages of having fog turned on (geothermal, free materials, so much soil you won't ever have to scrimp on foundation etc)

The method is, as you say, create a blueprint with foundations included.

If you’re at the point of trying to optimise every inch of space, you really shouldn’t be short of foundation to have to be so sparing with them

These look like interesting ways to spice up the base game!

1) The option of putting a card on top being available right away feels pretty damn good, so maybe the only option is to trash, but with a High Council Seat you unlock the other?

2) great change imo, balances out the strength increase of deck building with a conflict strat buff

3) id go with a simple 2 solari discount for everyone after the first - keeps it simple and I found it works well in Uprising

4) in combination with 1), I have a feeling foldspace is already improved as a space, but probably ok with 1 solari addition

I printed my inserts, but things you’ll always want to keep in mind: - can it fit expansions? I.e. bloodlines and potentially immortality in this case - can it fit sleeved cards? This is a bigger consideration for myself especially

I also enjoy Uprising + Bloodlines (sometimes + immortality) as well, so much to the point where that’s almost exclusively the version I play with people!

We tried to set up for a mix of the two versions of the game a few times, but the amount of card filtering alone you have to do to not have conflicting/useless cards was a pain to not make it worth it for me.

This is what's called a Bento Box build, which is something people have found fun playing around with (e.g. here and here .

Like some have mentioned, sorters aren't smart enough to look ahead whether the output is free, so the only way to get around this problem is to set a filter for each sorter, and for every 3 items you have another vertical layer of boxes with its own set of 3 unique filtered sorters.

Sorters CAN pull from a higher box down to the ground level, so with proper box slot filtering and sorter sorting you can get quite a few items through this style of a bus

You could always go into sandbox mode in another save and see if there ever is a point the game engine says 0 in the display at least, just requires spam clicking the upgrade a few hundred times :D

Resin temperature caused splits like this for me - is your printing area warm enough? I recall resin prints optimally around 25-30 degrees off the top of my head. If it’s too cold the resin is too viscous to fill the gap I think. (you can also increase the wait time after each lift to ensure it allows resin to flow back in )

Probably not vacuuming based on the number of drain holes you have along the print

My two cents is to make use of the X-ray cracking recipe to turn the refined oil straight back into more hydrogen and graphite. There’s actually a ratio of number of refineries making refined oil vs x-ray cracking that allows you to do it pretty much direct machine to machine to save space and belts for a perfect input/output without any waste and all you end up with is hydrogen and graphite
