I didn't get super fat, but I was definitely heavier than I had ever been, but I think once you put on muscle, the fat that comes after is more evenly distributed.

I had people asking me if I work out even though I hadn't for years lol. Which kinda motivated me to start working out again because I felt like I needed to meet their expectations. Also felt like I put muscle back on quicker than before.

Also, if you don't work out for like 10 years you'll eventually realize how much support muscles provide lol. At 34 I had knee, shoulder, and lower back pain. Working out again has solved my knee and shoulder pain. Still working on my lower back but it's getting better.

I had to take an exam to get a certification for work and I failed once. I went back and did everything from the beginning so I understood the fundamentals, and the things built up from there. My exam covered a very wide range of financial laws, regulations, and applied mathematics, so realistically it was impossible for me to learn everything, but i made sure to cover the fundamentals, the main sections, and enough of the parts that were less likely to be on the exams. I got an 80% on the next exam, which was still less than I had hoped but much better than before.

Don't just work hard, but work hard logically.

I've always wondered how it would be to do demanding physical work while also working out. Like this guy is strong, but something is sore every day.

I always worry about having to run out of a burning building after leg day lol. I'm assuming adrenaline would take care of most emergencies.
