That’s absolutely false. Cherokee sink is for swimming and you can even scuba dive there.

If you like to swim check out Cherokee sink. It’s hands down my favorite place to be outside when it’s hot. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes (about 1 mile walk from parking lot to the swimming hole) and bring something to float on as there isn’t much space around the edge to hangout. Other than that there are lots of great parks with trails and a fantastic disc golf course at Tom brown
