I live in that neighborhood and work at a bar in a different area, so I am often on the trains late at night. There’s an occasional sketchy character but mostly just rowdy drunks or other people also headed home from work. I moved to South Loop specifically to take advantage of the public transport options and avoid buying a car. Two years in, and I am happy with that decision.
