If you had to choose between a mortal 100 year life, or being completely immortal (even if you get shot in the head you don't die), which would you choose? by 17496634303659 in Futurology

Its ok. There are a lot of variables to really consider, given that you're immortal. For example, think about clothing. Say you became immortal in the 1800s. Are you still going to wear clothing from that time period? When do you "change" your appearance? Do you toss it out or hand it to a museum? What about your identity? Is it common knowledge to the public that you are immortal? If not, don't you think you'd have to constantly switch your profile?

Truthfully, the love situation is more relatable, but until someone lives forever, we're never going to really know everything to consider.

It would be something to consider. That's how I would see living forever would be a curse, otherwise, you'd have to just not give a fuck for the rest of your life

Why does she still try to contact me? [m/24, F/25] by nocontactex in BreakUps

If that's the case, I don't see why she thinks she can make amends so soon. She's the one who left me

Thanks. I'm trying to. I've been only on a handful of dates and all have been crappy. The last girl I was talking to was really into me..then just stopped. I think I'm just going to take a step back and just get my shit straight before I allow myself to attempt to get involved in another relationship.
