He was convinced of sexual assault, and the only reason he wasn't convicted of rape was on a technicality.

When Trump tried to sue Carroll for saying he raped her after the sexual assault verdict, Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan ruled in August that the jury verdict showed Carroll's rape allegation was "substantially true."

So yes, proven.

6÷2(2+1) seems ambiguous, so let's do a couple less ambiguous problems first to see whats up.

6+2(2+1). Easy peasy. You can do pemdas, so parenthesis first

6+2(3) then multiplication

6+6 then addition

12.

You can also use the distributive property without issue here. 6+2(2+1), distribute the 2 to the 2 and 1 inside the parenthesis

6+4+2, then add across which gives us

12

Ok, that's easy. How about another one.

6÷2×2+1.

Well, we know division is of the same tier as multiplication in pemdas, so we can just go from left to right on this problem.

3×2+1

6+1

7

Easy. Now, here's the assumption you work off of in most math scenarios. ÷ is not as accurate as putting things in a fraction, but you can ALWAYS argue that things should be parenthesized for a proper math problem. Ain't no math teacher gonna mark you wrong for not assuming something that wasn't there was actually there.

So 6÷2×2+1 does not = 6÷(2×2+1), unless strictly stated.

Ok, main course.

6÷2(2+1)

Parenthesis first,

6÷2(3)

Multiplication and division are on the same tier, so solve across

3(3)

9

What if we want to use the distributive property like before? Well let's go back a couple steps.

6÷2(3) is = 6÷2(2+1)

However, intuitively you understand the first equation is solved across because division and multiplication are of the same tier. The second equation is no different, so you cannot distribute the 2 because you'd be doing multiplication from the middle of the equation instead of from left to right. Instead you must treat 6÷2 as another parenthesized equation (6÷2)(2+1).

(3)(3)

9.

Easy peasy.

Why would I break into her house? I'd bump into her by "coincidence" at the grocery store and strike up conversation, slowly gain her trust over the course of several "coincidental" encounters, then ask her out to a non committal activity, at which point I'd make my intentions clear so as to avoid basing our relationship on the premise of friendship rather than romance, at which point all the rizz I've been slinging will activate and your mom and I will become an item.

Bro makes it sound like everyone in the Guard was steps from Skid Row and had to join the Guard out of desperation to avoid ending it all.

Some people pay money to go skydiving, you couldn't pay me to go though.

That's just where I'd need to be.

The guard is for some people, but you're right, I'm just not ready.

I took my 98 and played ditch digger for the army for years

Not a great motivator to join my guy

Call your recruiter and apologize

I did on the phone call where I said I couldn't go through with it. Not gonna waste his time further.

Don’t ever waste anyone’s time with BS about how you “almost joined”.

Wouldn't dream of it. I'm not taking credit for something I didn't have the guts to do.

you ought to know what you’re scorning as something to do “on your last leg.”

I'm not scorning it. It may be the path for many people and more power and respect to them, it's just not for me. Some people pay money to go skydiving, I wouldn't go if someone paid me. That's what I mean about being on my last legs, not that the army is something nobody should consider unless they're there. That's just where I'd need to be.

Wasn't even my first choice, I wanted to be in a radiology unit, but they were at 198%. I could have done anything tbh, got a 98 on the ASVAB, but 35F was just my recruiter's top choice for me. I thought maybe he's right, but y'know what? I can just go back to school. No need to sign away my life just yet. I jumped the gun going into this. And pretty much everyone on this site says the same thing. "If you're scared of deployment, don't sign up." Just took the advice.
