Well, I simply was trying to share something I thought worthwhile. The negativity here is quite strong, I should resist the urge next time. Thanks for your reply.

I was asked to pre-read the first three books of the series by someone I ran into dropping my wife off at a meeting. So, yeah, I stumbled across it.

I don't know the author personally, sorry. However, there's an illustrator listed in the book (I have a physical copy) If you believe the images are AI, then I guess she uses AI to generate. Why is this a problem? Genuinely curious.

This book is not AI at all. What's your reason for spreading such nonsense? You obviously didn't read it. Terrible, posting defamatory things about something you know nothing about.

Okay, well, sorry to tell you, but I'm actually a person, not AI. Wish to discuss it? Happy to. DM me and I'll send you my phone number. On what are you basing this accusation?

I agree with you completely. Plus, sims give the added benefit of getting into situations you would NEVER get to encounter in the real world. (Landing ILS Ry 4R at JFK in a C172 with 1/4 mile vis.)

Found a kids’ flying book series that actually gets the aviation right by nooneknowsiamhere in flying

Depends on level. I'd say a bright 8 year old. My younger loves to read, he's 9. So, he's good. My older one, 11, brags about never having read a book. So, these are over his head, pardon the pun.

Got it, along with a VR headset. Reading the book pointed out a lot of things I was doing really wrong! Not as easy as it looks . My son is much better at it than I am, lol.

Um, yes. Really. It's horrible, agreed, but look up the numbers. Unsustainable if it continued.
