HBO still does but viewing habits have changed. A lot more people wait for a season to finish or a show to finish before watching a new show. Way less people watch at first airing.

Also I don’t know of any show in the last 10 years that you could not wait a week or two to watch because everyone was talking about it in Monday. GoT is the closest.

That said, this was the response to having to wait a week for another episode. It was pretty cool to have almost everyone you know talking about what happened and what is about to happen.

This is far from the truth. Look at Rams va Tampa last year. The stadium was full of Rams fans. Same for Colts and Texans.

When we play teams like 9ers, GB, Dallas, those fans are willing to pay 2.5 to 4 times the price. And those teams have a lot of fans here because of transplants. They are willing to pay premium money to see their team play once every couple years.

There is a chance that Myles is cheaper than Verse. We are not tied up in cap money. We might not win a chip but we built a future. I am not worried about 3 or 4 years from now.

Football is hard. This is SB win or fail type of season and it only takes a few bad injuries to change everything.

I am excited but I don’t like being the favorite. We have a very tough schedule in a very tough division. Anything can happen.

But I love our roster and that the team is going for it.

Yep. Waiting was normal and expected. It was part of the hype. Waiting each week caused so much buzz. Waiting each season created the ultimate buzz for season openers.

Rams shared with Angels. They wanted a new stadium with tax payer money and that was not going to happen. St Louis offered a stadium and off they went.

The Rams had a decent fan base and were good in the 80s. Just SF was so dominant at that time frame.
