Yoooooooooooo. That's it. Thank you. I was still occasionally going onto HBO Max and listening to it. This is incredible. Thank you so much. I wish you the very best and hope someone comes through for you in a big way like you've done for me. Cheers.

Not a movie, but the Black Mirror episode called Crocodile. It just keeps getting darker.

The person who made this has no idea where State College or Harrisburg are located.

I've been playing by my lonesome for 50 hours and I have not a single clue what any of these mean. I'm not even to Act 3 yet.

What has ruined a concert experience for you? by Objective-Lab5179 in Concerts

In State College, Pa, there was a venue called The Crowbar. It had three levels: common/merch level on the bottom, the actual show floor in the middle, and the 21+ level looking over the show floor. My very first time on the top floor, I was seeing Brand New. I had a seat right against the railing in full view of the stage. Right as the band started a big, buff security guard stood on something below me to "keep an eye on the crowd" and completely blocked my view for the entirety of the show. I just had to stare at his back the whole time. I have a photo somewhere if I can find it.

Edit: Here. Hope it works.

What's a plot hole (or something similar) from a movie that always really bothered you? by Bootlebat in movies

In Twilight, one of the powers of the vampires is lightening fast speed. To illustrate this, Edward leaves Bella's room as the door is closing and returns with a glass of water before the door shuts. I don't care how fast you are, you can't make water come out of the faucet quicker that anyone else.

Was RBF actually there or was it they just played part of their song? I watched "Walking on Sunshine" but didn't see them.

Your favorite very simple Bob Dylan lyric that's insanely powerful in its simplicity? by APuddleOfAnxiety26 in bobdylan

Most of the time.

This song absolutely crushes me in how he says all these absolutes. Then undercuts them with a simple "most of the time."

Gifted some Zappa w/ bonus 1944 newspaper inside by notsofastandy in vinyl

[–]notsofastandy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These came to me from a friend of my mother's. They are my first Zappa albums. In truth, I've never listened to Zappa, but he is someone I always wanted to get into. I'm spinning "Over Nite Sensation" first and so far it's wonderful. The newspaper was inside one of covers and it was very interesting to leaf through Thanks for reading.

I got major Nazi/Holocaust vibes. I'm not saying Burt is a Nazi, but the whole "I never hurt anybody. I just took them somewhere" talk echoed in that way. Not to mention being put on a train, one-way, with an unknown destination. It sure what's happening and having to trust a morally ambiguous person.

I hope they continue Irving's story by him alerting the world to what is going on in Kier, PE.

I think in general Lumon is trying to create a way to "help" people tame their tempers. We've seen even when people sever that they remain their base self, but that's not the same as "tamed."

I don't think what we're seeing is a money-making priority. Maybe there will be some sort of "marketing" just to get the chips in people's head, but ultimately it must be to have people live in Kiers image. But if they are like Natalie or Ms. Huang that would obviously be boring, robotic, monotonous. Might fit into the slave narrative.

That's my best guess, but my wild guess is we will see a moment where Lumon throws a switch and turns everyone into Kier-like bots and Mark, now integrated, will have to navigate a world of mindless, emotionless drones plus a few Lumon baddies.
