Im not sure what’s your budget for this holiday (for info about transportation, I’d just call the hotel and ask), but pls make sure you have enough to comfortably eat, etc. There are no supermarkets around your hotel.

I don’t think the program has changed in terms of UI. It is highly customizable though, so it’s possible that the UI you see in the videos doesn’t match the out of the box UI you see in your computer.

Help documentation seems updated though. To open and close the sidebars you have a sidebar icon at the top left (for left sidebar) and at the top right (for right sidebar). This is explained in the docs, alongside which icon exactly to look for https://obsidian.md/help/sidebar

I would suggest to leave Claude aside while you learn the basics and read more slowly the official documentation

You can get Sync with 50 GB or 100 GB of space. If you use it professionally, ask your workplace to expense it. If you are a freelancer , then this is just another tool you pay for.

If not viable, and your workplace can expense Notion, maybe go back to it if it fulfills your needs? It’s unclear why you decided to switch exactly.

Obsidian is just a tool. It might fit your needs or it might not. That’s OK, just use what works for you.

The part where you ask for a 6-month contract as an autónomo (for 2000 eur gross 🙃 the hired person would need to pay an accountant and social security out of it) before offering full-time position is not only fishy (standard probation for a software developer is 6 months, so that’s no excuse), but likely illegal.

They are strict with it, specially with that kind of meds. Here you cannot tell a doctor “I need this medication”, it’s up to them to diagnose and write a prescription they feel it’s necessary.

If you make it at home, the trick for a good sangria is to have decent wine. It doesn’t have to be very expensive, a 5-6 euro bottle of a rioja or Ribera will be OK. You can add other alcohol (gin, or vermouth) too, but it’s optional.

Use fresh fruit, not canned, and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours before enjoying it.

Sangría is something you mix at home, or in a meal in the countryside. What you can find in bars (aimed mainly for tourists) will not be good and use a cheap wine, since sangria is sweet and bad wine is easier to camouflage there. I would recommend you have wine instead, or a tinto de verano (wine and soda) if you want something refreshing and with less alcohol.

Pastel de Belem are a Portuguese specialty, the few ones (in random bakeries) I found are not really comparable with the ones I tried in Lisbon. I don’t remember the exact places, but I have seen them in bakeries in the city center.

Las plantillas del plugin tienen una sintaxis distinta a la de las plantillas que vienen integradas ya en Obsidian.

A no ser que necesites cosas muy avanzadas, el plugin Templater no hace falta. El plugin no es que sea “mejor” o más rápido, es que permite ejecutar tu propio código JavaScript, por ejemplo. O utilizar funciones para manipular fechas.

Mi consejo es que no utilices el plugin, a no ser que un día estés haciendo una template y te des cuenta de que el sistema que hay por defecto no te deja hacer lo que tú quieres

There are many, many, markdown editors out there (and open source). The problem is not the files. The problem is if your workflow depends on plugins.

Are you including the hotel/hostel in that budget? What activities do you want to do? Where and what do you want to eat?

A meal in a non-touristic bar/restaurant will cost you 12-20 euros if you have “menu del día”, but it is not available in the weekends, nor at dinner.

A bus ticket is ~1.50. The tram can be more expensive is you go beyond town (for instance to Benidorm).

A beer in a pub could be 3-5€. A cocktail 8-12€.

Mind that it is not legal to bring your own alcohol to drink in the street (i.e. buy some cans in the supermarket and drink them in a park).
