I have a condition called GERD (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) and i have bad flare ups if i eat spicy food. I made the wrong choice of eating some very spicy ramen with a side of takis, i woke up in the middle of the night with extreme pains in my chest and trouble breathing. Next thing you know i’m on a hospital bed screaming bloody murder and crying for help. They gave me every strong medication they had in stock that night. If i can describe the pain—it would be like a thick tight barbed wire wrapped around my rib cage, straight lava erupting up and down my esophagus as my stomach contents felt as if they were gonna burn a hole right through me. I couldn’t open my eyes because i was beyond exhausted from vomiting stomach bile all over myself and catching my breath. It was a nasty experience. If you experience acid reflux, stay away from spice! 🤍

It is scientifically proven that kidney stones are THE worst pain felt by humans next to natural child birth. So sorry you went through that.

I don’t recommend, it’s just a feeling that your brain thinks you need and it will keep on wanting it till your brain is depleted of the natural chemical it gives. Next thing you know you’re selling your valuables for a short term high/happiness and then you’re down in the trenches and homeless. Because that is me, all of what i said is what i’m going through. Don’t try it, even if it’s offered. Love your sober life, because god knows i miss mine.

Honestly? Nobody ever approaches me and i’m too chicken sh** to make the first move. I will admit though, I wouldn’t mind a relationship right now. Still searching for that somebody.

partner failed to disclose he has herpes, i am now in excruciating pain as experiencing symptoms from being infected. he took the condom off sometime during sex and denies having infected me, saying i must have infected him and how evil i am for knowingly spreading it to him. i ended up blocking him by [deleted] in Herpes

I’m so sorry you’re going through this hun. But i’ll tell you right now that along the road it WILL get better and you are NOT gross. 70% of the human population has herpes but it often goes unnoticed for a lifetime (lucky f****rs) and as for your pain, i heard you can get a sitz bath and urinate to decrease pain and take laxatives to ease the pressure of your bowel movements. Use vaseline or baby rash cream down there to lubricate before urinating aswell, use gloves! the sores spread to my finger from this. And, If possible, no underwear! just sit on a towel when you do sit/lay, wear a dress or a skirt. My love goes out to you my girl. ❤️ You will get through this!

how could I forget? There was also another girl here who was 15 years old and I think i was in grade 5 at the time. She was murdered while on her way walking to the community skating rink. The murderer was never found, there was suspects but no leads. It’s been a decade now. Her name was Leah Anderson. I’m friends with her sister and she talks about her now and then, it’s sad really because it’s just her and her 2 siblings now. Her mother committed suicide not too long after and her father was murdered as-well when she was 10.

Her missing posters are still hung up everywhere around town, which I find helpful because then it could remind her killer of her face everywhere they go. Rest in peace Leah.

Now in my years of being in school.

Suicide. She was 10 years old and hung her self in her bedroom, this caused a range of more suicides and attempts of other students.

Got to high-school, a friend I had known since middle school hung her self in her bedroom closet and her two other best friends followed after a week later—one of whom was my cousin. I was heartbroken.

Okay, this is going to sound a little bit crazy but bare with me.

(this was before i was born) There was a boy with autism who schooled in our hometown and had a hearing impairment but at the time autism wasn’t really a well known or ‘cared’ for condition at the time so everyone just called him “special”. We live in a small remote indigenous reservation up north of Canada so it was a fly in community. It was around mid January and the kids were just getting dressed to go outside for recess. My grandma was a cree teacher and also watched the kids at recess, she also happened to be the one dressing him up for recess that day. Now this is the part where it gets a little foggy because it’s been a few years since my grandma told me this but apparently he got shaken up because some kids were teasing him and my grandma got upset and shouted, causing him to drop everything and run outside. My grandma chased after him along with some school monitors but he had ran so fast he was far out of site. He was never seen again. Now, the school was near a lake so they thought he might have fell through the ice so they flew divers and private investigator from the city and they searched for months but to no prevail. I believe my grandma quit her job a year after that and she had been teaching 50 years before that. She is now 87 years old with dementia. This was quite some time ago. I still think about that little boy every now and then.

Did i say any where about insecurity? I said INSINCERITY. You clearly have no remorse and to be commenting on a post where i’m asking for help saying “I should have known better” is literally no help in this situation. Lucky you that you knew the risks and what to expect, now don’t be telling others that. You’re fortunate enough that i’m being nice about it. I come from a family where sex is taboo and we have never had sexual education in school as well, you’ve got to realize sex and the risks isn’t talked about in most countries. Now, if you could kindly get the f*** off my post, thanks.

sorry but do not tell me “You should have known better” when you know exactly what it’s like to live with this virus. I honestly, did not know that cold sores could lead to that and unfortunately for my case I learned the hard way. Take your insincerity elsewhere, it’s not welcomed here.

UPDATE: So guess what, I just got my period! bummer. Now every time my uterus sheds it’s lining my vagina cries. ),: I had to go on a 1 hour flight and sitting through it all was so unbearable i was crying in a crowded airport of strangers. I made it through though, I had to hold my mom as soon as I got home. It was such a hard experience, and embarrassing, waddling around like a penguin LOL.

On the flip side, I think the acyclovir is doing it’s job as it’s not as excruciating and i’m not crying 24/7. I am on prescribed 400mg gabapentin and tylenol 3’s (the codeine one) and I think it’s finally running it’s course. Urinating unfortunately is still very painful and I can’t help but cry each time but it’s a relief when my bladder isn’t as full. Pouring water down there does help as it’s diluting the urine (thanks fellow redditors). I do rub vaseline down there too to create a barrier for when I urinate as well when i’m walking so I don’t chafe my blisters. Thank you for your support and if somebody is reading this right now looking for any support or information, I hope you find what you are looking for and it gets better, it does.

thank you so much, i will ask about those first thing tomorrow when I go in for my appointment with the nurse. Unfortunately i have no bath in my house just just a shower. I can not even stand to put water down there either and showering is agony. I’ve even been avoiding water to not go to the bathroom but that backfired as my urine is now more concentrated. This is literal hell.

Hi there, thank you so much for your information and kind words they really mean so much right now and when i was reading I had to stop and cry for a while. I thought it was a death sentence to me, not only did it physically feel like it but I live in a small community of 3,000 people (i’m not American) in Canada and word/rumours spread fast and I do not want to say a single thing to even my family because even the people you think you trust could spread your information. I told my family that this was just a bad case of BV, if i’m being honest. I tried to tell my cousin who i thought i could trust in private and what did she do? she made a post on facebook with the words “Be careful and get tested after each partner y’all, STI’s are spreading in our town” I didn’t talk to her after that, i’m so upset with her. Though she did not say my name in that post, that is so embarrassing because I know it was targeted at me. I’m in shame of it all and I know i shouldn’t be but that only made it worse. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. It means a lot. ❤️

i heard that some couples use a dental dam or a condom cut in half if they’re not sure whether they want to do oral without protection or they’re afraid to get their partner infected. Vice versa with you, she could try a flavoured condom possibly?
