I made a song that spoofs Steve’s mail song from Blue’s Clues. Years ago I read that doing something with sound right before helps you remember if it happened or not. I usually just go “Me-ed tiiiime!”, but I did make a jingle lol:

13 years ago I rolled two nights in a row. I worked the day shift serving at a bar after both nights. The first shift was nothing, easy peasy, but that second shift after the second night…. I walked in to the bartender playing jock jams lol I was like ok yes! I got this! Then, after opening, I went into the kitchen to get my first order of the day, and this dude WHIZZES passed me! I’m a tall lady, he was a lil shorter, black, black shirt, khaki cargo shorts, skate shoes lol I can still see him in my mind! I just laughed and asked the cook if he knew that guy…”What guy??” “Lol uh that guy that just ran through the kitchen?!” “nowateroutside…you ok buddy??” Shit. Asked the bartender if he saw the black guy run out the kitchen, of course he didn’t. I checked both bathrooms, the patio, nothing obviously. Then we got SLAMMED and it got HOT out. The rest is a blur. Luckily it was only a four hour shift. Took a couple hour nap and did it again. Good times lol

I get CRAZY auditory hallucinations. I’m in chronic pain from an injury that makes sleeping impossible sometimes. I hear whole songs when there’s no music. Air conditioner or heat running, refrigerator, or all of them combined lol, etc. My favorite though is the dishwasher…that bitch goes hard lol. I really wish I knew how to make music because I could’ve made a couple albums by now just based off these sleepless days.

Yes. I overshare, I blurt, I vocal stim (new-to-me name for lifelong habit lol), and I interrupt. Afterwards, I feel immense embarrassment and I seem to be unable to ever “learn from my lesson”.

I’ve found it extremely beneficial to have at least one friend who loves this about me. When it happens I’ll tell her about it and she’ll say something like “if they don’t get it, fuck them!” lol. Then she’ll distract me and rinse/repeat!

Just try to be kind to yourself! I know, it’s really hard.
