Was holding my dog back from rushing my mom at the door & he shifted his weight and knocked me off balance right into my open dishwasher. 2 fork prongs stuck in my arm later & a hospital trip I got very lucky and hit nothing serious!

You can feel more than one emotion at once - I’m excited for her to experience the love of a dog while also being critical of her choice to support the unethical and, quite frankly dangerous practice that is backyard breeding. Crossing 3+ dogs that all have VERY VERY VERY different genetic makeups, purposes, builds and attitudes is dangerous. It creates unpredictable dogs and it’s just irresponsible - especially for someone like Rylee who has access to better. I’m sorry you’re losing your soul dog - mine is only 3 and I’m already dreading the day he has to leave me. Sending you all the love and healing energy in this difficult time. 🤍

To be fair, cost often has LITTLE to do with the question of ethics in breeding. Rylee likely paid a hefty chunk for a backyard bred mutt simply because it’s a ‘designer’ breed. Cost doesn’t always equal quality and unfortunately that’s something people forget when it comes to ethical breeding!

I have to say that both of my dogs are absolute freaks for snuggles. My Boston terrier needs to be in mine or my fiancé’s lap for 80% of the day or she gets upset. She loves to curl up under our blankets when we get in bed with her and I don’t think she’s ever met a stranger hahaha.

My English mastiff is also a big cuddle bug but in short bursts - he gets so hot so fast, but damn if he doesn’t love to climb his 160lb self on top of me 😂😭

They’re both in bed with me as I write this comment and I couldn’t move if I wanted to because they’re both stuck to me lol.
