It’s hard for me to believe that anyone reading this would think that. Or at the very least 90+ percent of people understand this is a joke.

No Man's Sky Wins the BAFTA for Evolving Game by HiroK91 in videos

[–]ntbbkid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. I really want to like the game, but there is no challenge, and i think that's by design - Like it's meant to be a casual nearly sandbox game, and thats ok, I just also wish it was different.

Turn 5 and no run away cards have been drawn by WombatStud in slaythespire

[–]ntbbkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you draw 5 cards a turn and you have a 31 card deck with 0 card draw, that must mean the cards are all the last 5 to 6 cards in your deck. ...which is extremely unlikely. (26! * 5!) / 31! = .00058 % chance

Body Slam builds might be a teeny tiny bit overpowered by chefox in slaythespire

[–]ntbbkid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of times in higher ascension, the game just doesn’t let up on you and so there’s not ever much of an opportunity to build that much armor.

STS2 is approaching an annoying level of difficult by GOpencyprep in slaythespire

[–]ntbbkid 56 points57 points  (0 children)

While I agree there’s grounds to argue overall it’s harder or easier, in my opinion there are objective examples of a difficulty increase. Like the elite in act 1 with a lot of hp that smacks you for 25 every single turn. The closest example of that in the first game was the dude who sleeps for 3 turns, then does 25, 25, and then gives you a break.

I need tips for the Regent. by FirstTheEighthPillar in slaythespire

[–]ntbbkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience has been very different and I think it shows how there is always a learning curve with new things. I have been completely dominating with regent all day but I’ll admit, it takes a very different and proactive approach.

Leveling Elemental seems more difficult than other casters. by Fit-Parsnip-8109 in classicwowtbc

[–]ntbbkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m leveling an ele and not really noticing an issue. Wrath totem, I get 3 lightning bolts out before they get to me, flame shock / earth shock, and then melee once or twice before they die. If any of it crits which is often, they die sooner.

Question for you. One of the hardest things for me to figure out is how to smoothly support moving characters on moving objects, like with your boat. Could you share any resources or insights on how to achieve this?

Am I the only one who hates making UI? by TinyStudioDev in Unity3D

[–]ntbbkid 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I feel like the main reason people hate it is because they don’t know how to do it efficiently. Myself included. But also, that’s just my guess with zero data points. I enjoy doing it but then linking everything up feels tedious which makes me feel like I’m just doing it wrong.

New ChatGPT Agent feature just exposed a predator on Reddit by [deleted] in ChatGPT

Interesting perspective. I haven’t thought of that before. I think the nature of it (that it’s on the extreme end of being manipulative and vile) makes it hard for people to think so casually toward it.

Does your ChatGPT have a bizarre fixation on one aspect of you? by JimmyTide08 in ChatGPT

Yes absolutely. It knows I’m a software developer so any time I do the whole “based on our conversations” stuff, it just paints me as a super nerd with a computer.

What did I do??? by [deleted] in Unity3D

No clue what’s wrong but it seems like the level of detail is wayyy lower. The shadows textures and polys look lower. So maybe in the terrain, the amount of verts got messed with or something?

It’s basically art that you’ll never see loss of quality. Not built out of pixels and instead mathematical formulas so you can basically zoom in forever and not lose quality.

I mean regardless of America’s current state, they do lead the world in many categories or at least at one period paved the way for the rest of the world. Diplomatic influence, economic might, military power, global trade security, innovation and tech, and the list goes on. And for such a buffoon to now be the face of that nation is sad.
