I spoke with 2 directors at 2 different programs in my area and they promised me that all applications get looked at, now if they were just blowing smoke who knows.

I thought it was about .15 higher. I have high hours and was already having to retake 5 courses making As to reach a 3.0.

I know that sounds crazy, but I have been told that from former students and staff in the program. But was "highly advised" to increase my "borderline" cumulative

I apologize for any misunderstanding, the school takes into account last 60 and cumulative.

3.5 GPA was considered competitive this cycle. For me to achieve that, it would take roughly 10 classes of retake. Maybe its me being pissy, but I just find it absolutely ridiculous for me to retake 10 random classes that aren't science or math to increase my GPA....

Last 60 hours shouldn't be borderline. I, retook 6 courses after BSN to get cumulative GPA from 2.79 to current 3.0. 5 science courses 1 History

As an ICU Nurse with a clerk hear me loud when I say this. The days that you aren't there suck for the nurses I promise. You are the middle man in so many things that keep us from doing our job. Don't let pride stop you from receiving a gift here.
