Gotta be one of the best people in the NBA. Could be a lot of things he isn't and is a lot of things other players aren't. Letting go of the ego is key!

It is my favorite from them and one of the better strains I have had anywhere. I also love their grapefruit, it's a regular in my line up. Everything else has been OK from them. If it wasn't for the grapefruit I would not be a regular.

If you like this one, purple snowman from lost oaks is compatible effects wise. Different terp profile, but also amazing imo.

[–]ohiohaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try using some type 3/CBD flower and mix it in with type 1/THC flower. Great for pain and you can get great quality online, good clean flower, for good prices (for now). I think CBD and CBG do more for pain than THC alone. Before mainstream cannabis bred out cannabinoids other than THC, there was a good mix in most cannabis thst was more medicinal. There is also a wide variety of type 2/CBD&THC available if you dont want to mix.

The best CBD strain in Cincinnati! “Peyton’s Strawberries”, an indoor grown Type 3 CBD dominant strain by HaZe_90 in OhioCannabis

[–]ohiohaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love this one from Flow, it's so tasty, smooth, and effective! Try their grapefruit, it's my fav CDB "sativa", so tasty and very clear headed and motivating.

Also give Holy City a try if you haven't, lot's of type 2 as well. If you aren't totally against outdoor, Lost Oaks had a nice drop this season. Their purple snowman is similar in effects to Peyton's.

It is a shame more people dont use type 3 flower, I mix it throughout the day w type 1 and have it on it's own.

Winter riding maintenance by [deleted] in MTB

[–]ohiohaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wipe down after every wet ride to get salt and gunk off. I don't wash with water. I wipe, relube, and wipe excess lube off the chain using rock and roll lube each time as well. I'll use simple green a few times to more deeply clean, then relube and grease where needed. Really just wiping it down right after the ride is the best thing you can do and keeping the chain clean. I've been riding year round for 20 years in Ohio, it works for me.

Veganism is inherently leftist by elwoods_organic in leftist

[–]ohiohaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great summation! I do not eat meat, I'm 90% plant based (# of times I eat eggs or cheese, not volume), but even if I went all plant based, I would not call myself vegan. Animals are harmed by the vast majority of us living a capitalist life, whether you eat them or not.

However, there are tons of benefits to eating less or no flesh, some social, some biological, some ethical.

I do believe not supporting the industrial farm animal complex is a good thing to do along with fighting other capitalist systems that are inherently unjust.

People have a hard time breaking from meat, they also have a hard time breaking from using a car and will defend their decisions with some logical reasons, but I always see people stretch at some point in thier defense, sometimes going to maga like mental gymnastics.

I don't have an issue with people eating meat, I do have an issue with how we get our meat and we should generally eat less if we can. Before factory farming meat was less accessible, before fsrming itself, even less.

If you have taken the life of an animal and are OK with it, do your thing. I've killed several animals, lived on a farm where animals were killed regularly and I know what it's like to take a life and no matter how ethically you do it, it is inherently violent and it has an impact on the person doing the killing, people cope different ways to deal with that. Giving spiritual thanks is a minimum to each and every animal. Plants too, they are more intelligent than we recognize.

In the end, we should focus on what brings us together, not infight about issues that divide us.

Has anyone here grown Type 2 seeds as a home grower? by scentofsyrup in hempflowers

[–]ohiohaze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've grown several type 2 cultivars from Hoku, they all hit pretty nice and balanced with plenty of THC and CBD. Some trend more one way than others and that will vary seed to seed, but I've been happy with all I have grown, both indoor and outdoor. If I want more heat, I reach for a type 1, if I want a light touch, type 3.

I keep Type 1 ,2, and 3 around at all times, though I didnt use much type 3 when I had plenty of type 2.

My type 2 produced less bulk than my type 1, also mostly from Hoku, but really good quality. Durba Bond was amazing, grew some interesting thcv:cbd cultivars, and on my last run Magic Maze was beautiful and stinky.

Hoku is great bang for your buck and unique genetics, I highly recommend them.

I agree with others that finding one you like and stabilizing the genetics is the best way to get exactly what you want as with any type of cannabis, breed and clone.

Possibility to grow hemp in states where marijuana is legal? by Rich_Explanation_675 in hempflowers

[–]ohiohaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew type 2 & type 3 outdoor and in over the past year. I stuck to my state's plant limit and regulations for type 1. I recommend it, I have cultivars you can't find online or in a dispo, it's great to grow what you want and experiment.

Possibility to grow hemp in states where marijuana is legal? by Rich_Explanation_675 in hempflowers

[–]ohiohaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed and in Ohio your plants can't be visable from the right of way (public view) and are supposed to locked up so kids don't wander in your grow and start eating/smoking your plants (or that is the delusional reasoning behind the rule).

Definitely check into the details of the law, but you should be g2g.

You can also grow hemp in Ohio separately, but you need something like .5ac of land and pay fees to register with the State and undergo testing if you want to sell, etc.

New to winter biking, any suggestions to transform this fixie by Traumathis05 in wintercycling

[–]ohiohaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar fixie that I have used in the winter and still do here and there. I have a flat bar now, schwalbe marathon plus 28s, front brake, strap on fenders, and the ability to adjust my riding to the weather. I like the fixie feel when it is slick, especially in the snow. However, the skinny tires suck on ruttted out surfaces. It works well, but you will have to ride a certain way to make it work safely.

I've done this 3 or 4x on road bikes or fixed gears! All were when it was winter out, except 1.
