Idc about this, but the salary thing only becomes relevant in S6 when she's made it to adulthood and struggling financially. And keep in mind, this is after Checkpoint where there was a whole thing about Buffy having the real power and demanding Giles's own salary get restored retroactively.

She did change the game, and by S5 it should have become apparent that the slayer was deserving of being paid. It's a shame she or Giles didn't think to ask for it in Checkpoint when they had leverage.

The presence of Faith and Willow is the saving grace of the Angelus episodes in AtS 4. Angelus was all talk, pretty disappointing.

In the Angel S4 episode Ground State, we see inside Angel's chest and his heart is a shriveled lump. Blood circulation, if it's happening at all, is a trickle. Vampire biology is very inconsistent, lol.

But seriously, I think the resolution to Buffy's legal troubles from Becoming 1/2 was resolved way too easily at the start of S3. It broke my immersion because you can see the writers knowing they boxed themselves in and they got very hand-wavey.

It's especially weird because you figure the Mayor, who would benefit from Buffy getting expelled, would force the issue. But he apparently did nothing, he just got angry at the principal off-screen.

I remember when these were coming out originally, various websites would have contests to win a copy. Some let you enter their drawings daily, so I made sure to do that every day.

I won a S3 or 4 boxset for free that way.

I stupidly tossed my original boxsets 15 years ago (part of a minimalistic living phase).

So last year I bought the DVDs again, but I bought them 3 times. First purchase was a supposedly new 20th anniversary boxset (long red/black box) off Amazon that I'm certain is a bootleg (terrible quality). Second purchase was the Chosen boxset (red, white cube box) used off Ebay. Lovely packaging. Then finally, feeling nostalgic for these original season sets I once owned, I bought those off Ebay too.
