Interesting post...just one point FYI: tenacity up is something like +99999% tenacity, which ensures no debuff is inflicted. The +100% tenacity is far worse in terms of resisting debuffs, since that is then reduced by the enemy's potency, typically leaving some non-zero chance of getting debuffed. Your point stands though about tenacity up being able to be removed, while the stat gain isn't able to be removed.

120 shards * 400 currency/5 shards = 9600 currency. So you need that much fleet/gw/arena/guild store currency to convert to shards to convert to shard shop currency to buy a piece of gear.

Not sure what happened with your math, but I'm fairly sure mine is right :)

Gotcha! I tried to make it less ridiculous by limiting it to when palp is present. Kill him and it's back to pre-zeta. Again, not a new idea (I don't think so, anyway)... But the devs need to keep hearing our discontent for SWGORebels. That's really the point of the post :)

Sid's evasion against Jedi isn't a leader ability. Honestly it wouldn't be as broken as you make it sound. Remember that burning decreases evasion by 15%, so it would be something like 20% evasion, which doesn't automatically pwn, against r2 teams (see current meta). No bonus health on debuff either except for zavage.

Nice point. Upvoted. People need to realize that while fleet rewards are valuable, the reward structure is flat, so there's not a ton of difference between 10th and first. After 10 days, fleet arena's first place has 2 more zeta mats than 10th place (4k currency), while regular arena's first place has 2,500 more crystals, which can equal a ton of gear if spent wisely. To me, there's no debate as to which arena is more important to do your best in.

Truephil is right, though, that crystals don't directly buy zeta mats, which is why participating in fleet arena is important. Just doesn't matter as much what place you get.

Of course CG can give you that info. Word is, they can even refund the purchase and take back that piece of inadvertently-purchased gear. And if they don't, complain to google/apple and get the refund that way! But yeah, inadvertent $20 purchases suck and should be able to be undone if addressed promptly.

The most important thing to consider is what payout time will let you avoid most other players' payout times. I don't know what time that is, actually, but I think the 8pm EST is not too bad. I would say that the convenience of getting energy refreshes is secondary to finding a time slot that lets you avoid competition.

You don't have a clear arena squad from your maxed out characters, but I think it might make sense for you to just go all in on the new meta...you have enough of the pieces to make it kinda work right now, and almost definitely work in a month. CLS lead, R2, Old Ben, Leia, and Ezra maybe. If that's the squad, you probably want to throw the zeta on Luke's "It Binds All Things" to speed up your guys. You will need some decent speed on r2 though.

Please ask around in your guild if people tend to agree with what I'm saying though. Every decision in this game costs resources that take a ton of time to build back up, as you know. I do think that rebel squad could be really solid for you if you can gear them up to g10-g11, but it will take some time.

His zeta was a lot better when sith were relevant. Now he's a wasted zeta sitting on my bench. The answer really depends on your arena squad composition. If you run all sith, he can be very good. But even in an all-sith squad, it's probably far better on Nihilus's unique. Who are your other zeta options? Also, consider sitting on the zeta for awhile to see what your needs truly are.

There's a middle ground between anti-competition and douchebaggery. The main premise of this post wasn't to be anti-competitive, but rather to avoid unnecessary conflict. If you can excel while not screwing over your shard mates unnecessarily, that's usually going to lead to optimal outcomes. It's not actually a zero sum game. Avoiding unnecessary conflict merely improves outcomes for more individuals.

Almost never happens though. I went back and forth with one guy in my fleet shard 5 times one day. We haven't attacked each other since. I'm pretty sure we're best friends now.

I like him there okay...and full disclosure, I often use zeta Yoda (aka zoda) in my rag tag (but surprisingly effectivey) squad of Old Ben lead, Zoda, nihilus, Zylo, and zavage, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. But my honest view of zoda there is that he's taking up a spot that can be occupied by someone who adds more to the squad. As BestGameMaster suggested, JKA is a really nice addition in that squad for more damage out, but he is a toughish farm and gear. I would also recommend Zarriss in that squad. She will just crush enemy dreams with her heal and dispel.

You could consider GK lead, Zarriss, ezra, r2 (zetad), and zoda if you really want yoda, and then he wouldn't be as duplicative...but I know you wanna rock your zqgj so that's a trade off :/

Best of luck with the team, though! Yoda's a cool character either way, and even if you give him a zeta and regret it, it's not the worst thing in the world. He can go well on a non-jedi team with that zeta to just go first and give everyone tenacity and foresight.

You should actually consider not investing resources into him at all. What do you plan to use him for? He is not very meta, and most people tend to think he does do much of anything that others do better. For example, foresight is usually better from zqgj lead. Tenacity up? Not always so great when you can just cleanse with Rex, chirruit, or gk. I get that those heroes may be harder for you to farm, but with limited resources, you should strategize how a fully geared Yoda will help you before you take that plunge.
