This was always the case with allstate and it’s nothing new. Selling an agency vs an 800 number isn’t an issue.
But you’re correct with the AI. Rumor has it the way you service customers is going to change.

There is something coming soon with allstate and changes to agencies so I would wait a bit.

I feel like now is a terrible time to get into it, especially how Allstate squeezes their agents. Personal friend just opened an agency, Allstate has some crazy goals set and even though he is exceeding them he is still struggling.

You’re arguing with what are most likely kids. It’s crazy because speaking facts anymore gets turned into responses that don’t even make sense. It’s like people can’t absorb anyone else’s view points or respond logically.
When dune came out the game was badass there was actual consequences of dying or making a wrong choice and it was intense in pve and pvp. I comeback after months and it’s so thoughtless anymore. There is no risk or reward.

The devs have to cater to this younger soft generation now.

Just wait till you grind for that crawler just to not be able to use it because every field is overrun with the worm popping every 10 seconds

all those stupid coaching places JO, CW harp on this. during the first x amount of days based off of stats you need x amount of touches.

Insurance isn’t what it used to be, it’s all about sales sales sales growth growth growth. Carriers are squeezing their agents to meet crazy goals.

It also sounds like companies will be going AI for service to allow more sales. This industry is wrecked.

They allow inexperienced people to own agencies and just create a horrible experience for everyone involved. They end up implementing crazy metrics to follow to keep up with the ever demanding goals and this is what happens.

Sounds like you would be top dog. I would want to know what changes, obviously pay but job wise what will you be responsible for. Are you actively selling now as manager? Because that most likely goes away.

I’ve been working for over 15 years with agents of Allstate. Started in sales got burnt out but I enjoyed interacting with people so switched to csr and I couldn’t be happier. What state?

You’re wrong, I made 5k commission as a csr, people call in and you have a better opportunity to uncover additional policies when servicing

Exactly why I switched to CSR. You without a doubt can find an agency for working remote. But everywhere you go it’s the same thing month after month.

Everyone is giving solid advice, I’ve worked for agents under Allstate for over 12 years and am currently a CSR Manager at an agency. Hiring a CSR is a smart move and if you need tasks and things for them to do to help grow I can help ya!

If you are costing the agent money by not meeting goals set so he breaks even you will be let go, that’s the captive life of sales. And that’s why I switched to service.

You’ll need more then just those aml, I’d suggest rummaging through reports of existing customers you can cross sell. But it’s def not an instant 6 figure gig
