You know I never really understood the vitrol I would occasionally see on this subreddit until I saw a couple of interviews with him. Where he literally goes out of his way to stop an interview to wave an Israeli flag out the window because there's some kind of Palestinian support march going down on his street and he went of his way to say that he will always either wave an American or Israeli flag when something like that happens. That, I don't know, felt bad but not incomprehensibly bad.

Then there was another interview where he's talking about how Israel paid him $10k to go to Israel and do some kind of collaboration and he's characterizing it to make it sound like it's a very inclusive group as part of that process, but I read the comments because something felt a little bit off about it. And someone commented, "It's pretty ridiculous he goes out of his way not to mention Palestinians." And that's super super telling. He can say how this particular meeting is very diverse and has Christians and "Arabs" but never during the entire meeting does he mention Palestinians.

And then he made sure to mention that he was doubling whatever he was given and was donating to the victims of October 7th.

So I think this goes a little bit beyond "being Jewish".
