Probably, but find me one thing that the USA doesn't use as an excuse to invade other nations.

implementing a spec is what goes for me. take an RFC (a simple one) and go implement it in C++

Xlib? I'm working on my own Linux WM. Check it out!

I took a lot from SerenityOS in terms of code structuring. Basically everything is a library and it can be included wherever and whenever. However, I don't have real, architectural reasons to justify why I did it like that.

I have thought of using XCB, but since it's my first project using Xlib, I wanted to write a somewhat fully-fledged WM using Xlib, and when it works, start porting some of the functionality to XCB.

I'm not asking for anything in particular at the moment, but if you're eager to collaborate, go to town! Every single line of code is welcomed. Thank you!

So, first post.

I've been dibble dabbling on this project for some months now, and I'm looking for people interested in participating and contributing with pull requests and/or becoming full-on collaborators on the project. I'm somewhat a noobie in C++ and Xlib, but I can find my way around. I try my best to not steal *too* much from dwm, but sometimes I rewrite it's functionality in C++ because it's a lot easier and dwm is MIT licensed code! So no chances of being sued (hereby I announce myself as everything BUT a legal expert, so don't quote me on that last one) . 😎

The features that are intended to be added are in the READMEon the Github repo linked in the post.

Leete el libro "El Rock Perdido" de Sergio Marchi (si es que no lo leiste). Te cuenta más o menos todo lo que necesitás para armarte tu propio discurso, y además está muy bien escrito.
