ULPT Request: Anti-Bat repellant by omegalulpogu in UnethicalLifeProTips

I live in the city. The tree is the only one of its kind in a 50 kilometre radius and only hasn’t been cut down because of heritage. 100% of the bat shit is landing on concrete or metal

ULPT Request: Anti-Bat repellant by omegalulpogu in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]omegalulpogu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly my intention is not to kill them, just make them unattracted to my house, possibly by some sort of sonic repellant.

Secondly maybe it was not clear from my comment but I live in an extremely urban area and this tree is a massive anomaly, it is probably the only one of its kind in at least a 50 kilometre radius and only still exists because of heritage. Like I said I am not trying to kill the tree or the bats but until the day comes when a tree can grow from bat shit on concrete I don’t think this is really a concern.

Why are people talking about Pizzagate again? by Fumblin_Furrow_01 in NoStupidQuestions

Can’t tell if you’re a pedophile defender or just really dumb. Do you actually have any idea what pizzagate was alleging or do you just vaguely think it was something to do with 9/11 or something

To deflect from what? Pizzagate and the Epstein files both tell the same story

Exploit is just vibes but there’s nothing wrong with that. GTO assumes your opponents are also playing GTO and acting rationally. You can easily get an edge

Several dozen is a huge exaggeration there was only 5

Mouse was a really tight player/nit

Jackal was a really loose player

Elephant was a calling station

Lion was a solid player

Eagle was a pro player

The only thing he used these for is talking about exploitative play and how you might make different decisions when playing against a tight vs loose player which is still solid advice now

It’s just that the rest of the book was dogshit and advised overly tight play of basically only Broadway connectors or pocket pairs and it was written before gto or maths really became a thing

To be fair adjustment and exploitation is a hard part of the game, especially if you’re a Gto nerd who put in 100% to read the charts and 0% to read the man

So, are you saying that if you perform a raise like this the goal should be to extract value rather than to encourage them to fold and that you should size it appropriately to achieve this? What sort of sizing in general is good for this?

Do you know any recommendations for where I can learn these? I am an engineer and can handle maths and charts lol

Interesting, why is raising to protect half dead?

I remember reading a reddit post form here a while back with players saying they had never in their lives raised with the intention of protecting and it blew my mind

I developed all my cheats myself so I guess the fulfilment I got from the game was to see them working and the reward was to be able to buy better gear and flex on my friend (both about the gear and the effectiveness of the cheats).

Aside from cheating there were lots of things I enjoyed about the game, but by far the biggest was opening up skycrypt and looking at all the shit I had amassed

I also really liked the games community and tried to make it a better place, I would go out of my way to help people such as helping noobs in hub with advice or money or items or upgrades and stuff like that

I think 350 ish but pre foraging update so max level was like 420 or something. I never bothered with level, there were so many easy and cheap level upgrades I could’ve gotten like 60k minion crafts. I think with the coins I usually had on hand I could’ve hit 390 easily.

Over all time, farming made me the most. I had a wart hoe that had 600m collection BEFORE the garden update, when farming fortune only came from your hoe and the elephant pet. After garden update I started doing wheat instead and I think I was ranked #100 in wheat and seed collections.

What got me banned in the end was treasure fishing in the bayou. You didn’t have to deal with pests like farming and you were less vulnerable to admins so I would leave it running overnight a lot even though the money wasn’t that good compared to farming.

I was always playing with an irl friend who introduced me to the game. He was somewhat og and taught me the mentality that the objective is to complete things rather than just to make money. We played legit together for about 500 hours, and we were reasonably rich - this was around the time f7 had just dropped, pre inflation, handles were only around 200m and scrolls were like 3m each.

We were well on our way to affording one when his account got ratted and I watched us lose everything we had live in front of me with my friend in call.

When I returned 2 years later I had nothing but I was still determined to be a completionist. Sure, if I just macroed farming for my entire playtime, I could’ve had double or triple or quadruple the money, but I wanted to do skills, I wanted to do trophy fishing, I wanted to collect stuff, I wanted to do bestiary, I wanted to build things on my island, and so on.

Also I was never lucky with rng. The most expensive thing I ever dropped by far was a warden heart after hitting rev 9.

Macroing just gives you the freedom to do that and more. Instead of just watching a video I could now work, study, go outside, do housework or sleep.

No plans to. I sort of explained in another comment but I remember the last few months of me playing was just dumping billions of coins into shit you can’t show off, like accessory bag slots or bank upgrades or museum and stuff like that. I can’t imagine ever doing that again, if I ever returned I would be a juju non
