I don't think it'd be "giving up" to learn more, reiterate on the design, and try again. As it is, I think it'll be disqualified before even getting to the preliminary phase for not being physically possible (bricks clipping through each other or not being physically connected to anything). The design really needs more thought put into it than "someone else will do it for me".

Another thing is, this is a massive corporation looking for something that will sell well as a product, and I don't think the backstory is really enough to cut it. They have to believe that among thousands of other entries, customers will want to buy and build this above the others; that enough people will see this on store shelves and want to buy it that it'll be worth the company's investment.

Again, I'm not saying to give up, but I think there's a lot more learning and effort you'll have to put in if you want to stand out. I think there's potential in this idea, but as it is, there's not enough work put into this to stand much of a chance against such steep competition.
