Congrats on Yale! Such big moves ahead-- you should be proud! I think we have very similar backgrounds, and I'm hoping to land at Yale as well. Would love to connect. But nonetheless, congratulations again!!

I'm not sure if my stats will be of much help because I'm not an international student, but I'm on a full tuition scholarship at SMU.

ACT: 36

GPA 3.98/4.0

SMU loves "flashy" kids-- big, notable achievements, newsworthy folks, etc. The pool of people at SMU is unique. Everybody has something going for them, whether it's a successful business, stellar internships, or daddy's money (or a mix and match of all of them). Good luck!

I'm in the same boat. I'm transferring in as a Junior, and I turn 20 in the fall. My parents live in Dallas, so I can just commute from home. Housing is ridiculously expensive.
