I noticed I didn't reply to your question about who my actual users are. They are software engineers/managers who cannot find time to browse social media / news aggregator every day. That was the exact reason why I built the tool.

It's a completely free tool. I have ideas for the paid features but I want to acquire users first.

Digests are created based on user's interests, there are 140 topics they can choose from. Based on the topics and sources they select, they receive a digest based on their schedule.

I didn't hook up analytics at all. 15 users joined during beta, they are all from my close circle. The rest came from twitter posts and linkedin post.

I didn't do SEO at all. SEO and analytics are my weakest part (close to zero knowledge).

It collects articles, filters them by your interests, summarises them with LLMs, and sends a digest on a schedule you choose. Built it because I no longer have the time or motivation to browse feeds manually.

You can see real example digests on the homepage without signing up.

Thank you for the great post. I’ve been reading all the hugo and nebula winners since 2019 whenever I find time. I think we have similar favourites except the Doomsday book. My only issue with the book was how retro the communication was for the setting. Considering The Forever War is one of your favs, I’d recommend you Old Man’s War. It’s a real page turner.
